  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

Sorry for being deliberately vague, but we may have some news incoming…

You’re not wrong Doc, that’s very vague / cryptic!

Are we to assume that you know something that isn’t otherwise known and it is related to our injuries (hence your comment on this thread?)

Hope it’s news of someone coming back from injury rather than a new injury! When will you be less vague?

I might look an absolute c*nt, but I understand a different line up to Tuesday, and less options on the bench

That suggests illness rather than injury

I reckon this is Sincey and Lusty.

I always thought Sincey & Lusty were the same person?

They would though wouldn't they. I remember the post and remember remaining unconvinced.

Iles reporting its concussion.

If that’s the case quicker recovery than ankles/knees isn’t it? (Obviously, as long as it’s not serious)

Whats the protocol with concussion these days?

Heavily dictated by the club doctor for the progressions through each stage, but you're looking earliest return is probably Peterborough.

Light exercise Friday

Football specific Saturday

Non-Contact Sunday

Full contact Monday

Birmingham Tuesday 😂

According to BEN Jones Forrester and Gomes fit for Saturday !

It says after the international break they will be in contention that’s if it’s this break and not the next 1 !

Im almost certain it doesnt say that

Quote from the BN

"(Gethin) Jones is one of a handful of Wanderers players who will be back in the fold after the break, including Carlos Mendes Gones and Will Forrester, which could present Evatt with a few more selection decisions."

"Back in the fold" is a bit ambiguous, but given we've heard very little about them playing for the reserves, B Team, or whatever they're called now, I'd be surprised if they're on the team sheet on Saturday.

Note:  the above quote is a direct copy and paste from the BN, so it's thumb-head who misspelt Gomes, not me.

aye, may well play, who knows, but i think its a jump based on that article to say fit for saturday

Nice to have Gomes back. He has the unpredictability we miss at times. Good option to have

They may not be quite where he'd want them to be, but they will have to play at some point.

With so many injuries, they may have to, even if its just for 45 mins, or an hour, then swap round.

Usually, Evatt says if he thinks a player isn't ready to return, and hasn't gone that far here.

We'll see soon enough.

Young Inwood looked more than half decent the other night so if IE doesn’t want to risk Jones or Forester then maybe he could be an option to start?

Not registered in the First Team squad, so isn't eligible for League games.

Had in my mind under a certain age they didn't have to be registered? Thought you had free reign to play U21s, but that may just be me misremembering something from Football Manager rather than actual rules.

He was on the bench for Crawley away, so he must be eligible.

Orthopaedic shoes?

Under 21s don't have to be registered

Edit: Was questioning how Toal's injury was classed as a concussion, but just read it was an on-going issue from his previous game.
