That’s a shitter.

Step up Mr Forrester (and Mr Jones who isn’t far away)

Think Forrester will do ok but we are really down to the bare bones now at centre back.

I know folk will say everyone gets injuries but we seem to get hammered every year 🤷‍♂️

Not even November and we have lost 2 central midfielders, 1 central defender, 1 full back and our No1 goalkeeper.

All on top of players already missing plus Lolos.

Nice one.

Do we know how long Forino's out for?

Toal and Dempsey not the only one's moving into "injury prone/made of glass" territory.

If only everyone was made of whatever Cogley's made of (he's played well last couple of games and in light of injuries he's definitely one of the more valuable/crucial players to have in the squad)

Yep. Not an excuse with the squad we have.

And at a mindset level, no point feeling sorry for ourselves.

4 have had longish term injuries this season: Forrester, Forinho, Jones, Toal.

And Gomes like jones missed pre season .
We did have nine out last season at one point

Cogley reduces the chances of injuries by never getting involved in a challenge or tackle.

I know its a tongue in cheek comment, but the frustrating thing is so many of our injuries have nothing to do with fouls or tackles.  Lolos was an abvious exception at Orient.

Hamstring injuries for Toal, Tomo, Tutu too.

Forrester fell down stairs!  Baxter self inflicted sliding fall, Jones knee injury in training.

CMG ruptured achilles tendon at Wigan (inoccuous challenge IIRC),

Williams 4 months out after tearing a muscle in his foot warming up.

And that's just this season (I've probably forgot some), last season was similar.

Evatt saying the club is conducting a big review, which is the correct course of action.

A couple of observations. We have a lot of players who turn out for smaller and/or far distant international sides. Northern Ireland seem to have a pretty carefree attitude to players in their care and then you've got CMG, Forino, Jones et al playing for sides on far distant shores. None of that stuff helps with fatigue injuries.

The other thing is we do have at least something of a track record of signing players with a proven injury record - Forino and Tutu and the classic examples.

Players with better fitness records cost more money, all part of the gamble.

Baxter, Firino, and Tu Tu signed with a bad  injury record cost nothing   Dempsey likewise cost 300k. Add us being one of the very few to put a strong team out in the EFL cup and there is your answer  Also a good point of players playing for Countries on micky mouse pitches.....No need for a review
