  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

ANY player will be sold this January if the right offer comes along.

Thats all it needed

But you havent got a clue what will be considered a 'right offer'

I said 6 figures, does not mean 100k but it would be less than 999k

You said any 6 figure offer.

I have to say, we don't learn on injuries. If this was a one off with Sheehan you could ignore it but there's a trend of us playing players with knocks until they break down. Very frustrating.

When's this root and branch review of injuries due...?

How many players do you think play without minor injuries?

Id say its not so many

Fwiw, i do think its naive to announce it

Sheehan was over played by wales recently and doesn’t miss many for us either…. Not surprised he’s gone down.

yes but you do not have any medical evidence to prove players are playing with injuries!!!!!

Didn't know Masi works in the finance team at Wanderers

That’s sad if we don’t have one. Would like to think the good work being done at  the club would be built on things like sports science.

players always want to play but surely they would know their bodies enough not to carry on when it’s putting them at risk.

joking aside, it something that was dismantled post allardyce and obviously by the time of winding up orders every couple of days it was non existent

i think it has been mentioned as being on the list of things we need to be considering

He’s going to be very busy and I think it’s going to take him a very long time to work out all these 6 figure bids we are going to get in.

Would have thought we would at least have a link up with the uni over it or something. Hopefully it gets sorted as it is clearly something that we struggle with

Would that be pronounced as shite - o or like shitio?

The devil is, as always, in the detail.

Played virtually all game in both games in the international week… then straight back in for us.

So? He hadn't played for 10 days before the Internationals and he doesn't get kicked to shit playing for Wales.

The EFL’s yellow card amnesty kicks in on the 19th game of the season, meaning Ricardo Santos, George Johnston, Jay Matete and Aaron Collins must avoid a booking in their next game to be in the clear.

Wanderers go to Adams Park on Friday, December 20, for what will be their 19th game of the League One campaign.

One positive about Bristol postponement, means they are all available for Wigan, would be nice if they are available for Wycombe too.

From earlier this year

Thought we were ok in this department, unless some of them have been “Craddocked”

Few snippets:

“Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt trusts scientific approach. The club boosted their backroom this week with the appointment of a new head of sports science, Paul Walsh, who has previously worked with Stoke City, Sunderland and Northern Ireland.

Sharon (Brittan) and the board are amazing at it – they trust that we can get on with our jobsin our area of expertise. Likewise, I am not a sports scientist, so I will listen to them and take on that information.

“Of course, it is then my decision, but it is an informed one, and the information I get from those guys is fantastic“

You’d assume this is the one game we wouldn’t want these hanging over us. Grrrrr.

We need them all for Wycombe but they can only play the next game and not think ahead.

That said they can cut out the silly shit like dissent or kicking the ball away.
