Problems sleeping

Never ever had this problem before. I just can't seem to switch off and lack of sleep is turning me into a grumpier bitch than usual.

Things go round in my head and it is stupid o'clock in the morning before I finally nod off. I wake up and look/feel like shit.

Is frigging myself off and a bottle of wine a night the only answer? Cos it doesn't seem to work.

if tomazipalm isnt working, you might be doing it wrong; i'll send you some instructional videos 🙂

i tend to put some white noise on- especially a podcast called They Walk Among Us. the guys voice is so soothing i drop off within minutes. last night i opted for some documentaries about despots on amazon prime

I was bought a Shakti mat as a Christmas present. It is a mat with around 6 thousand little spikes that you lie on like a bed of nails.

I am by no means a wellbeing guru, very much the opposite, and I suspect it was bought as a joke. However, I gave it a try and I now fall asleep on it every night so anecdotally it works.

It is very painful to start with, as you would imagine, then you start to feel a warm tingling sensation which is quite relaxing.

Put a tens machine on your bawsack On full power for the same tingling sensation. Cant sleep though.

Alcohol despite what you may think Is a terrible sleep aid , just makes you dehydrated whilst you sleep

seriously exercise, plenty of water during the day

get off the phone before bed, have a bath

If you have stuff on your mind confront it

Sat on the floor once or twice doing stuff for too long and ended up with pins and needles that spread up to my penis fly trap. Can imagine it's the same sensation. Can't deny I didn't enjoy it 😎

I fancy trying one of these, when I had problems with my back I went to a lady in her house in Spain she had this machine that was like a big tens machine that covered my back but the pain was on another level like being stabbed repeatedly, genuinely was sweating after half an hour, anyhow the back pain disappeared and it’s never returned and that was about 5 years ago, think it activated pressure points in my back and stopped the pain, this sounds like it could do something similar.

Are you sure there's no adverts interrupting every five minutes?

Yes, the advert is first minute then it’s on solid all night, tried others rain sounds but this one is great because it  varies like natural rainfall virtually stops then increases in intensity and ebbs & flows.

@bolty58recommended one of these to me so had one delivered. It’s really weird. Looks like an instrument of torture but it’s really soothing. @Escobarpworth considering pal

Is this the tens machine or the nail mat you’re on about?

The nail mat

Stay as far away from alcohol as humanly possible. You don't get good sleep after drinking. Its laced with sugar and dehydrates you to fuck.

Hot bath before bed will help you drop off.

Exercise. Fresh air. Water

And try not pissing about on the phone late on. Try reading a book.

Works for me.

read a book.

No alcohol

No phone

Get your cervix rearranged an hour before sleep

Have a big poo

Ketamine.

Keep a notepad at the side of your bed and write down whatever it is that's going round your head as it's probably your way of trying to remember something you need to do the next day etc

My missus kept asking what half or an oz referred to.

Since I've stopped drinking, I've had problems waking.
