I know for a fact Wanderers now have a working relationship with City

Mat mills was saying on under the cosh that city have kids on 40k a week there. When asked how they make it pay he said they go of the assumption that they can loan them out at some stage for a couple of million and recoup the money that way.

If that’s right and Trafford gets a new contract wages and loan fee would be to much for us I would of thought

He’s talking bollocks. It’s more round the £10k and that is what’s Foden was on, and what Liam Delap and Cole Palmer are on now. And they’re the top level academy players.

Can you give any info on what that involves?

Wanderers will be an allocated side to be invited to send their coaches and staff to go and watch City’s academy players.
Each window a dossier of players will be sent to these invited clubs and then they will get first refusal.

They’ll be allowed to then go and watch their players at their loaned club as they please. Like they did last Tuesday.

City get their players at approved clubs who match the ethics and playing styles of city and the club gets a risk free player.

Do players from City come with the proviso that if fit,  they play?

I doubt it. They won’t get involved with that side of thing but they rate their players so much that they believe that they should be playing.
If BWFC went in and said we need to loan a back up goalkeeper to go on the bench he wouldn’t go.

He was on loan at Accy earlier in the season but after shipping 12 goals in 3 matches he was dropped. Accy's loss - our gain.

His first appearance was 2 days after City recalled him from Accy,

Like Aldo says that’s really interesting

So, say we get promoted or at least have a decent end to the season, and Trafford is a big part of it, are City likely to make us a preferred destination the following season, or is he then touted to the other approved clubs at a possibly higher loan fee based on his performances?

He’s still fairly young so I don’t think they’ll be think right get him in the championship it’s the best fit for him. They’ll want him settled, playing and performing. He was dropped at Accy, so he was recalled. They want their players playing.
