We weren't anywhere near our best, nor were MK, I suspect.
Sadly their not best was better than our not best.

Room for improvement, but we've had a good season so far.

No dramatics, In Evatt We Trust.
If we don't go up this year, we'll win it next time.

Agree with all of that

Apologies, particularly to @Youri McAnespie

Woah they have mobile robots delivery takeaways.

It's the future , but not round here .

They have had over 300 for 2 years and not one has gone AWOL .

Saw 2 of them coming from a chippy near our hotel.  Trundled their way in front of us presumably on their way to a customer.  Up here it would have been upside down in seconds and be bashed open with a rock. Do they not have homeless folk or hooligans in MK?

They’ve got cameras In them. Send a feed to police for any vandalism. Loads and loads been prosecuted. Hence why nobody does it down there to explain how they are not smashed up all Over the place

Exactly the reason why I didn’t go.

I’ve been once and will never ever go again.

Football isn’t just about the 90 minutes for me, it’s about the day out…..

So if we need to get something to get promoted, you wouldn’t go……

never say never.

although, I won5 be going again unless something is in the balance

On a serious note . Did it Screech when he picked it up ?

According to the blurb if interfered with they Screech

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere.

Evatt is saying that the referee, late in the first half, made some uncalled for wisecrack at the Bolton bench.

He's incensed about it (hey, he's no Sam but this isn't rare tbh). So much so that he's putting in a formal complaint.

Does anyone have any idea on what was said ?

No, and Evatt wouldn't elaborate until process has taken place.

Anyway, the two goals were so avoidable. Poor pressing for the first and a touch of the Dixons for the second.

OK, ta.

Agreed. We are allowed a poor game and were outplayed for large parts of this one but still the two goals could have been prevented, plus hit the bar and Santos headed over from a good position.

As people often say,  "small margins".

Just under two days later, and I still can't fathom why that wasn't a handball for their first goal. It hits him on the bicep, so it isn't even close to being marginal

Perhaps the man City rule also applies to MK.

Wasn't the ref the fourth official when we had the female ref at home and Evatt said afterwards that she did well considering she got absolutely no help from her three colleagues?

Perhaps that has/had something to do with it?

Apparently the powers that be decided to further confuse matters, now saying handball begins at "the t-shirt line" whatever the fck that is. So a century and a half of understand the arm starts after the shoulder has been turfed. Who the fck decided this,  and why, remains a mystery.

So, now ... if it hits where there would be material if wearing a Polo shirt, it's no longer handball. All those Leeds fans wearing cap-sleeve t-shirts still would be more likely to be given handball it would seem.

So Santos gives away a penalty and sees red for the ball hitting his chest - not even t-shirt line, then we let in a goal for an even more blatent handball which is allowed to stand.

The standard of refereeing is appalling at lower levels. It's just diabolical higher up the football pyramid.

You watch the continental refs in international/european games, our officials are amongst the worst

Even in the prem with VAR our officials are terrible at implementing it compared to at international tournaments

Im not saying they are not amongst the worst, but i watch Tenerife every home match, and all in all the refs are shocking, even with VAR at there disposal!
