The Integral Gethin Jones

21/22

With him

P18 W10 D3 L5

Without him

P11 W2 D2 L7

Integral is the word for this mon. He makes Santos a better CB, helping Fossey to flourish,  link up to the centre of the park is brilliant.

If he stays fit I think we’ll make the playoffs

That’s if he isn’t already injured 🫢

Starts tonight against Indonesia.

And just put in a cracking assist.

Geth's been getting some stick according to the commentators but he's just put a decent ball in to get an assist for Australia's second.

Fastest finger, well done. Awful game, I'm flicking between this and the tennis.

Yeah, Australia are a hard watch.

He's been getting a lot of stick. Expecting more from him going forward. But the other right backs are terrible.

And the one game Gethin missed last week, we concede down his side.

They do play a flat back four but in a 433 so there is space ahead of him to play in.

Rumour that he went to hospital after game for a scan.

Twittter rumour so god knows if any truth in it

I've seen a quote from the Australian Manager that says pretty much the same.

Speaking at training on Monday, however, the Bolton Wanderers man said that he'd been cleared of any major damage to his groin, which he had first had issues with after Australia's group stage win over Syria, and that he would be available for Friday. "All clear," he said. "Just a bit of fatigue

Hes only there because he couldn't get a game for Wales.

Hes clearly Welsh.

It's a big shift to go from this to not being in the squad at all with injury.

Seems a strange one

Aye.
