Heard it too many times yesterday, took some to task on it. I just don’t get the mentality sometimes I really don’t.

I'm all for a bit of banter but this is just wrong

Didn’t hear it yesterday but we have to be better than that. 

Our fans spent years singing about the Munich air disaster and Kevin Olson so our older generations can't pretend to have short memories. I'm sure we'd all acknowledge times have changed. Social media and blanket media coverage mean there's more scrutiny. If that means you have to be polite and show acceptable standards of behaviour then the overall outcome is not bad thing. I'm all for ripping in to Wigan but this would be well, well below the belt.

I could imagine Wigan would stoop to such levels if Wyke was a Bolton player. Enough said.

Not for me, even more so with Muamba coming back into the club.  I hope we can be better than that

I heard it on saturday but wasn't being sung by more than 3 or 4 people. To say it's a bit crass is an understatement. Banter is one thing but hopefully this won't catch on.

Worse than the correlation between Wyke and Munich58 references, for me, is the upset it would’ve cause 10 years ago if Wigan had started singing songs mocking Fabrice Muamba’s heart attack at Spurs. Even now, 10 years on, it’d leave a bad taste if they reacted to our wankers singing a song mocking a player of theirs by turning it around and mocking him.

Sorry but what’s the root of this, has something unfortunate happened to Wyke?
