Great day, thanks to everyone who made it there, I'm sure a good few quid was raised, on a footnote; the juniors presentation (under 10) before the event, raised £172.50 with a raffle, now this money

  • Come on chaps let’s get donating a few quid.  Al raised thousands for folk in need, let’s do the same for him.    https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/allanmather?utm_term=K8GMEz4rG

A lot of people won't realise how much he put in to the remembrance group and how much good work theyve done.

Absolutely unbelievable and completely selfless. None of it would've happened without Al Mather.

Proper sad to hear this .....Rest easy Al .....Thank you for all the things you have done for the folk of Bolton through the rememberance group .

Been really impressed by remembrance group, a force for good and what following a football team should be about looking out for each other.. RIP its a legacy to be proud of

RIP!  never met him but obviously a big heart and massive Wanderer.

Very sad news, I had a few beers with him at Kirkys funeral and was speaking to him earlier in the week about raffling a rangers shirt.

R.I.P. Al, a genuinely decent bloke who would do anything for you
