They are rosary beads. Left footer.

Not necessarily.
CofE has rosary beads .
you’d only know which by looking at the structure or listening to the rosary he was saying .

id suspect no Christ on the crucifix points to CofE but can’t see the structure

not that it matters one iota like.

The was a fashion a while back where people used to wear rosary beads . Never got that either  , found it very strange

Sorry to be pedantic but Anglican beads are different to Catholic. He is definitely wearing the Catholic version and looking closely, they look hand made. I suspect he’s trying to make some sort of statement but not sure what.

Aye I know they are , that’s what I meant by the structure. I can’t make it out to be honest .

I think he's going for the ascetic look. That drip is fire in 2025 🔥🔥🔥

Note the crucifix......!

I said a couple of weeks ago that the CofE is just sitting there ready to be hijacked by the far right. I'll be absolutely gobsmacked if this doesn't happen in some way shape or form.

Yeah can you imagine if he'd converted 🤣

CofE preaches love for all, all welcome,

If it gets hijacked by the far right it won't!

Average CofE church has followers from many backgrounds, I've been to about 5 different churches this year and they've all been inclusive in terms of the ethinicity of their flock.

Just can't see that happening, at all..

👍 There is something written on the cross but I can’t make that out from the photos. I’m guessing his ‘statement’ would have something to do with the Crusades. Just a guess.

He will be wanting to make out hrs some variant of martyr no doubt. Come out looking dishevelled,  brandishing beads,

Never seen a picture of him looking anything but impeccable in his appearance.

You are wrong. It already has been - decades ago. Their flock contains mothers and fathers concerned about their children; a safe environment; wary of persons of questionable intent being injected into their local communities.

Brownshirts the lot of 'em.

The computer wizard next door has been able to clarify the photo so that the writing becomes legible.

It says 'Black Sabbath'.

Seems to me he's getting on board with the "we are a Christian country" angle

Doubt he's ever been to church or said a prayer in his life

He could be a devout Catholic of course but as has been said, it’s unusual to wear the Rosary beads in the way he has. The crusades were of course instigated by the Pope so I think the symbolism is there.
Understanding the symbolism is important. Ask Gary Lineker😉

Agreed…..…but at least SYL lives a life full of Christian values eh.  Respect, tolerance, compassion. Not.

We'll see. And I suppose it depends on your definition of far right. If I were in their position - that's what I would be aiming to do. It's on its arse - and it wouldn't take much for congregations to suddenly become half regulars and half 'patriots'.

And I've noticed an increase in the number of people with Reform/Union Flags/Pictures of themselves fish/Lights Templars on their social media profiles who suddenly seem to be taking an interest in Jesus all of a sudden. Despite the fact that Jesus' teachings would be at odds with their current world view.

I'm not talking about an insurrection - more that it might happen slowly and over time.

Maybe they're his anal beads?

It actually says in the bible ( Genesis, paragraph 3 section 4b,) that Rosemary beads were actually first used in the act of soddom.

Apparently that's why Judas fell out with everyone about that dinner party as he was bang in to using them but the other lads just wanted standard bareback.

Pope Urban II

Always sounded like he'd be good at a Soundsystem.

Where's them GMP police when you need em.

Absolutely shocking the police weren’t there quicker. Supposed to be able to respond to threats in airports quickly.

I see what you mean, that's just not very funny. IMO

I agree just not funny.

We had a big debate on here before about the whole ‘it is only a joke’ discussion.
