  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

If we jailed everyone for cutting trees down then we’d have serious problems with prison overcrowding

Ha! If we spared jail time for everyone vandalising or destroying our heritage, we'd have none left! That tree was more cultural than some lass in a union jack dress ;)

We were 5th in the table with the number of asylum seekers arriving n 2024.

In a table of what? Population, countries, GDP?

Are you just being deliberately thick tonight. (More than most other nights)

My point was if they continue doing insanely daft things whilst in charge of local councils they might lose support. It’s not that hard to imagine

There are hundreds of (insanely 🤷‍♂️) daft things approved by councils across the country on a weekly basis. Have you looked at the daft things this government tries to implement? I say try because Labour MP’s keep blocking them. Now the unions are trying to block them.
Anyway, some 18 year old ……..

Tbf I would argue the vast majority of Reform supporters are supporting them because

1 They promise to stop the boats

2 Labours merry go round on policies

3 Farage is liked - by some.

How their support will be affected by the below will be interesting

1 Tommy and Rupert Lowe saying Farage is not credible on immigration

2 Tories and/or Labour improving

I think they changed their position on Green issues it won’t affect much

All this talk about Reform is just a distraction from Labour’s failings. Yes the polls show them in the lead but as has been said many times, it’s a comment on the current and past governments that makes them so popular. Add the anti-woke sentiment (see girl in 🇬🇧dress) and it explains their popularity. Ignoring it and attacking them, just makes them more popular.

How does that work then? How come criticising Reform "makes them more popular", but criticising Labour doesn't?

The girl in the 🇬🇧 dress making the news is very much why we are in such a mess.

But it is also due to many multilayered issues across our society that is being exploited by Farage and has also been ignored by Tories and Labour for many years.

Why do you ask so many questions?

Because I like understanding things, or hearing someone else's opinion.

Just read what people say then. You wouldn’t need to ask so many questions then.

Why does Starmer keep cropping up in this issue? I haven’t seen anyone on here blame him.

I think it's just become a running joke that he gets blamed for everything now, irrespective of whether the issue at hand has got anything to do with him. .

A bit like how poeple used to say tit at something and say 'Brexit Britain' or 'Thatcher's Britain' with their to to tongues planted firmly in their cheeks.

Came across this the other day

Proper nasty piece of work, is dubai based tice

Not with you on this one.

I think you have to be an utter cretin to go and do something like that. Drive miles out of your way to cut down a tree. Just because you know that lots of people like that tree.

If they even stood to gain something from it then I'd have probably been able to understand it a bit more. If it was for financial gain for example.

It's the fact that they did it just to be a pair of obnoxious cunts that really riles me. 2 years is about right I think.

Weirdly - it was the same feeling of anger I had when ISIS were destroying centuries old temples in Iraq etc, albeit on a much lower level 😁

The arrogance of it. I hate things like that.

I get that, but jail, especially a 4 year term is way too excessive in my eyes. I’d have them on some kind of community project for 10 years (a full 10 years) planting trees in all weathers .

More hard to believe is that these 2 have been on remand since they were nicked. Are prisons full or not?

If criticism = popularity, then Labour will win 600 seats next time.

You been on the booze?

Starmer was blamed in a few threads on Twitter, one person asked how he could still be in job after this when all Boris did was to eat a piece of cake.
