Far right doesn't necessarily mean Nazi though. Or fascist. And that's where I think a lot of the indignation comes from when that terminology is used.

People assume that if you're saying a movement is far right, that you're equating then with Hitler. That's not the case.

When I say far right - I'm using it to describe things like

Ethnonationalism or nativism.

Opposition to multiculturalism/immigration

Having strong nationalist sentiments

Having authoritarian leanings (admiring strong man leaders, wanting to reduce civil liberties, punishment rhetoric, support for capital punishment, in or out group mentality - that kind of thing).

Anti-establishment worldview (things have been forced on us, mainstream institutions are corrupt, thinking you're speaking for a 'silenced majority', real people vs corrupt elites narratives etc. 

That's what I mean when I say people are 'far right'. And there are quite a few people on here that I'd put in that category. 

It doesn't necessarily mean they're any more violent than I am, or want to put people in concentration camps. Or that they're not right about some things. It's just an inelegant way of describing people who share a range of ideas.

I think most folk are against unvetted. 

You simply shouldn't be allowed to roam about if you have no idea of the person's history.

Crusades were aimed at recapturing territory.
