Egg Chasing World Cup

Anyone going to the game at the Reebok, Eng France?

Not really mad on Rugby but I do fancy this.

  • I went to the Tonga England game a few years back. If you want to see a national anthem sung with enough passion to make your eyes bleed, watch Tonga.

Went Tonga v England SF in 2017, it was possibly the most incredible atmosphere I've ever experienced. Not sure how many UK based Tongans there are but worth going to one of their games I reckon.

East Lower  cheepest is £70

Went to the Eng/ NZ semi a couple of world cups back. It pissed it down all match. Can't seem to remember the tickets being expensive. £70 seems steep for a group game.

Eng, aus, nz and an island inhabited by 80 folk in the south pacific in the semis

No way. There will only be about 500 people on at those sorts of prices

They said at game yesterday cheapest tickets are £55

He did indeed.

I'd been listening to the chat, and thought I might bring the family down for the event. Then when he said the prices, I thought again.

After all the chat about getting more folk involved, they then chuck that in the mix.

Bonkers prices.

No interest in Rugby at all, but I'll be going to the Champion of Champions snooker in November.

How the hell do they justify some seats at our ground being almost three times the price of others?

Topless ladies bringing drinks and giving reacharoounds?

£85 the most expensive.

Must get a go on Sharon as well for that kind of money

I hope were getting a good cut.

The pitch could take some hammer which won't please Evatt.

Bought tickets when they were cheap pre COVID. Mainly so my lad can see the Reebok when it's full 😁

Might only take one game!

If its pissing down the pitch could cut up badly.

Its generally scrums that are the issue

There hasnt been anything close to a scrum in rugby league since 1992

And that was the first one since 75

Which is a positive. Why the fuck is a scrum a good thing? Or a maul?

Hoofing the ball into the crowd for a line out?

Keep the ball alive ffs

I’ve got a couple of freebies through work for France/England at our place, but realised it’s same day as Accrington away, so there’s only one winner there.

Yet when one of the fat lads pull off a 40 20 its like a bank holiday has been announced

A good scrum is a sight to behold, as is a rolling maul

Rucks, you can have :)

I’m still fucked off that the England-France game kicks off at 5 so not enough time to get back from Accrington away. Would have made a great double header. I’ve sacrificed Fleetwood away in favour of RLWC Final so will be at Accy rather than the UniBolt.

Got tickets for 10 group games (3 Leigh, 2 Warrington, 2 St Helens, 2 Doncaster, 1 Coventry), 3 quarter finals (Huddersfield, Wigan, Warrington), wheelchair final at GMEX and final at Old Trafford. Originally list was longer but wanted to avoid Saturday clashes with BWFC plus a couple of our midweek games. £340 worth of tickets all in all.

Was originally planning on both semi finals but clashes with Cambridge away. Going to the England v Fiji friendly on Friday too.

I’ve was offered a free ticket for Lebanon vs Jamaica at Leigh.

Imagine that.
