Fans need to chill I ain’t happy with the result and felt IE picked wrong team and slow making changes buts he’s best manager we’ve had for a long time, we’re building steadily and Rome weren’t built

  • I'm glad there's no league game for a fortnight now. It's a natural pause in the season to reflect.  In the long term we are 6th and there's still 30 games of the season to go. We've a transfer w

  • If only we had some of table type thing that put all the club into positions based on games won or lost so we could check on progression

I'm waiting for a repeat of the Sunderland performance, know a fan of them who went to that game last season, he was utterly convinced we would be going up last season. Unfortunately, we've not come close to that performance since.

I looked at the line up for that game, and it hasn't changed much.  Just Bradley for Fossey and Tomo for one of Williams or Morley most weeks, and Iredale for John.

Sadlier, Baka and JDB all came on in the 72nd minute, virtually repeated v Burton within a couple of minutes.

Bwfc 2

Oxford United 1

Another come from behind win....

I’m in the any win camp. Winning when not playing well tends to lead to glory come May. A performance would be nice but 3 points is the aim of the game.

30 points from 16 starts to look relatively positive if all goes well.

Theres nobody in our league playing any better than we are.

Its the level we are at. Ie totally shite.

Unless you just mean in the last half hour of games, I'm struggling to follow that!  Plymouth and Ipswich to name two.

But I agree the standard is poor generally, most teams are organised and physical but toothless and lacking pace.

Better standard last season by a long way

Key difference being the top 2 can play badly and win regularly

we play well and lose

Fine margins

better side at Plymouth Baka scores we go on and win imo

Santos doesn’t get sent off at vale

bradley scores against Sheffield

not far off top

Sunderland were probably the last team to come and have a go at us tbf. Even Sheff Weds sat back and sucker punched us.

I genuinely am baffled by these tactics. Thought Burton looked dangerous when attacking us on Tuesday.

For me, that's why the best managers/teams play on the front foot. No one wins the prem, nor any league for that matter, by consistently being negative.

To be fair to the Burton manager, he took over a car crash of a team conceding goals for fun, and he's made them hard to beat and results have improved hugely.  Its only what Allardyce, Dyche, Warnock or Pulis would do in the same circumstance and as much as I don't want to watch that style of play ever again, I respect managers who can execute a game plan and have all the team knowing what their roles are.

I was more referring to ourselves- of course in their position tightening up at the back is important, but like any team eventually, if they want to continue to progress the gloves will need to come off a bit.

Yes.

I'll drop mine off if you want.

My mum's had to go in hospital overnight so I'm out.

Frankly, if an Asian bloke is inciting violence and threatening folk, then him being called a Paki is tough shit.

A perverse argument being lobbied- don't call a criminal anything as you might hurt his feelings. Kinell.

I'll remove my original reply as a Wways argument is probably not what you need today.

hope your ma is okay and that we can get a comfortable 3 points in your absence.

Great stuff. Ticket, not your mum, obvs

IFollow again for me today (apologies for the mid game rants in advance - it’s my only outlet to vent frustrations, the baby doesn’t want to hear it).

I’ve no idea how we’ll set up or who with, I’d love to see Sheehan play based on his cameo on Tuesday, although it might be too early. I just hope we go at them from the start and play our game, rather than let them disrupt like Accy/Burton did. A goal in the first half an hour would be nice and I think would see us pretty much confirm 3 points based on the stats kicking around on twitter with results when we score first.

3-0. Lee, Bradley, Baka

Not you is it? 😊

Thought of you when I saw this. Anyone with kids can appreciate this one.

It’s not me, but I had almost the exact same issue apart from the fact she was lay on me at the time. I managed to stifle it when we equalised (helped by the fact I wasn’t over-excited with a draw at home to Burton) but couldn’t help myself with the winner - fair to say she woke up. I had the same with Accy too!

Probably another tight game that we dominate.

Early goal and I think we go out of sight.

Would be more than happy with a 98th minute winner
