We don't know what they are doing

They could tell us but it wouldn't change anything

It wouldn’t but you think it’s acceptable to make no statement nothing? I certainly don’t.

If this club dies because they just sit back as it doesn’t suit them to complete on the club because they won’t pay more for the hotel after letting everyone believe they were out saviors then they should all hang their heads in shame

our club is dying almost dead and the people who are to save us have said nothing whatsoever and I for one think it’s utterly abhorrent

I don't think Head of Terms on its own is legally binding. The question is whether they have signed an exclusivity deal and if so how long it is valid for?

With regards to Bassini not sure it is about a thawing in the views of him but more a realisation he maybe the only option for our continued existence.

It's either half of 'Right said Fred' or 'Lois Spence' .... hes got some balls, I will give him that. I Can't see the EFL giving him the time of day considering his previous ban and record.

Bored of it all now

just sound the guy out, can’t get any worse

I agree it should have a long stop date. If that had passed why are they not seeking a new buyer? It is because that date hasn’t passed or there isn’t one which would be negligent in my opinion.

Either way now there isn’t enough time for anyone to buy us other than them unless somebody takes a drastic punt or enters into some sort of JV with FV which is unlikely that they would do that as cuts their profits

i think we are royally fucked

If exclusivity is not an issue, the administrators may not be negotiating with other buyers because (a) the other bidders aren’t able to satisfy the requirements to complete (eg proof of funds, EFL approval), (b) they genuinely believe FV are virtually ready to complete, (c) the increased costs of dealing with a new buyer could be prohibitive if they believe FV are still likely to complete (d) the secured creditors will not approve another bid, (e) various other commercial reasons we are not aware of.

I agree, time is now critical and makes a new buyer unlikely.

I will say one thing. FV have exclusivity that’s a fact. They’ve paid £1m into the pot so that buys it. They haven’t gone this far without exclusivity it would make no sense whatsoever

Nobody is getting near this club unless FV agree. Our only hope is that they decide to go in with someone else or agree to flip it.

I was thinking Dennis from Auf Weidersein Pet. Either way, he’s a buffoon

He’s a fucking loon.

I’m literally grasping with my fingertips on to the hope that he’s a Valium- stuffed front for someone decent.
