Day 1 - Perth
Nice Kearsley flag behind mid on as Tremlett runs in. And again, as I post, Australia lose a wicket. I'm getting good at this

Day 1 - Perth
When he's out of form Collingwood is horrible to watch when he's batting but he's worth having in the team for moments like that. Unreal

If You Could Have...
Lad I work with said to me yesterday: 'Djorkaeff was shit for you, wasn't he? Must have been past it.' I soon set him straight. Player I'd have would be Gudni, reckon he'd be great alongside Cahill

2nd Days Play Brisbane
I was going to retire at tea. But then decided to watch another over, just in case. Then another. Then another etc etc. Gonna give it another 10 minutes...

Ashes 2010/11 General Chat
Batsmen seem to be well set and in little danger then play a loose shot (Pietersen especially, a ton was there for the taking). Not going to say anything else because I'll jinx it (if I haven't already)

Ashes 2010/11 General Chat
I've decided I'm staying up until Cook gets his hundred or is out. Whichever comes first. Although, if it's looking good I may stay up till stumps. Cook and Bell looking good. Shane Watson is a typical Aussie. How I loathe that man

Manager Of The Season
If there was an award for manager of 2010 Coyle would have to be in the running. That 'sideways' move from Burnley isn't looking to shabby now, is it?

Kevin Davies Is That Hard...
Kevin Davies is so hard they were going to name a street after him but thought better of it; nobody crosses Kevin Davies and lives

Gmp On Twitter
Call 392 was 'Loose cows in Atherton'. There was another one about 'Suspicious man in Salford.' Good luck picking that fella out

Stig Tofting
His entrance music is a bit dubious, but he does the business

Famous Footballers You've Played With Or Against
Played against Nicky Hunt for school (he was the third best player in Hesketh Fletcher's team). Played in same team as Ray Wallace (Rod and Danny's younger brother) for a bit. Have also played in a game refereed by Graham Poll.

Living In London
I live in Mile End, which is great, near Victoria Park, a few good pubs, Central, District and Hammersmith and City Lines, near Brick Lane. It'd be easy to get to Barking too.

Bolton Interested In Cleverley
And John O'Kane...

Bolton Boo Boys...
Regarding Taylor and glandular fever, it wasn't the club that announced it, he just said it in an interview after the Stoke game. I think he knew about it in February last season. He wouldn't get in my 1st XI if we play 4-4-2, but would be a very useful sub

Funniest News Story Of The Day
Apparently they wear the scarves then buy programmes, beer and food inside the ground. Not sure they've grasped the point... They're just fashion accesories to a lot of them, so some bloke from Northampton can show how much of a fan he is by wearing one. Idiots, most of them

Get It Sorted Owen
One thing Coyle has got going for himself is ambition. That's why he hedged his bets and left Burnley for us and that's why he'll be looking to improve us so he can get a better job. That's the position our two best managers of recent years (Rioch and Allardyce) came from. Ultimately, they both viewed Bolton as a stepping stone to something bigger if they did well here. The ambition Coyle has to manage a bigger club will benefit us in his time here, I reckon.

What Makes A Player "world Class" ?
I've always thought Henry was a bit of a big-game bottler (this is mainly based on his record in cup finals, I have to admit). He must have played in about 10 and, off the top of my head, I can't recall him scoring in any of them. He was absolutely brilliant at winning Arsenal titles because he'd destroy most of the teams in the Prem, but seemed to go missing in cup finals.

Bolton 4 Wigan (who?) 0
I don't think Coyle will have told Elmander to shape up, he'll just have been relentlessly positive, telling Elmander how good he is, that he is an ?8million striker, that he can score goals etc etc. Mind you, Coyle talks so fast that Elmander probably only hears one word in five. Great result though. Wigan are very flimsy

West Ham Away
Drinking wise I'd recommend the Coborn Arms in Mile End, 10 minutes away from Upton Park by Tube, won't be too busy and you'll be able to get a pint easily enough.

Bridge Pulls Out
I don't think we need a reserve left back. Make sure Cole's fit, use Milner, Barry or Lescott as cover and take an extra striker. Nobody won a World Cup because they had a reserve left back, but an extra attacker could make all the difference

Coming To An End At Bwfc
Klasnic looked to be hobbling as he went off. Taylor put in one good corner but for the most part was rubbish. The chance Gardner had in the second half, Taylor wouldn't have made that in a million years, due to the fact he can't run. One great corner though, and therein lies the problem, do you keep him in purely for set-pieces? I hope Coyle says no. And whoever told SKD he was a creative midfielder wants a slap. Yes, the pass for the goal was brilliant, but five or six times he gave it away when he was trying to nutmeg an opponent or have an extra touch. Just lay it off and get in the box, you tool

Arsenal 4 Wanderers 2
What really fucks me off about that challenge is when you remember all the bleating Arsenal did about Martin Taylor's tackle on Eduardo a couple of years back. You'd have thought the cunts were the keepers of football's flame. That Taylor tackle looked worse on impact but it was just because he's shit and slow, and didn't get there in time. Gallas meant that one last night, why else would he have gone in with his studs over the top of the ball and turned his back? Davies didn't move, that's how you could tell he was badly injured. And then those Arsenal fans, who were giving it a load of yap about dirty bastards when Eduardo got injured, cheered when the stretcher came on. Cunts Sorry for the length of this, but it really, really pissed me off

Arsenal Roll Call
I am in, although I only have to travel around 4 miles. Never been to th'Emirates before so am looking forward to it and will enjoy regardless of result (unless it's a 7-0 loss. I might get mildly annoyed at that)

Worst Ever
Ibrahim Ba started the semi-final second leg at Villa and was horrendous. For that performance in such an important game he deserves to be in that team
