Packing In Smoking
About 9 years ago i enrolled in a quit smoking group run by the NHS id smoked for about 45 years nonstop was on 40+ a day.I thought id never quit but the lady running the course was brilliant no patronising or lecturing she just stuck to facts, like what was in cigs,i nearly spewed up when i heard what was in em, i picked a day to finish as they said, got my free patches from doctor and quit,i had patches of various strengths for 3 months 24 hours a day and it worked ive not had a cig since and feel a hell of a lot healthier. So if your thinking of quitting try hard it is a good thing to do.

Holden - Concacaf Gold Cup
Just watched second half of the match (forgot about it ). Anyway looks like Stu Holden is getting back to being match fit,he had a good game, picking things up around centre circle and stroking it around sometimes short sometimes longer but looked confident.First touch a bit poor on a couple of occasions but can expect that at this stage.Took his goal well,a run into box and a knock down to him. All in all he looked to be getting back to something like,if he carries on progressing like this he will be back.

What Will You Tell Your Kids/grandkids ?
Nat was a hero to many including myself. He was one of the bravest footballers ive ever seen.he would take anything the opposition gave him and come back for more, and remember in those days there were some dirty bastards playing. But then, we had our share of em to,but that was what it was like then, none of this rolling over and over when you got ankle tapped or shoved. One of the things we used to say about Nat was that he would head a cannonball for the Wanderers if needed, and i believe he would, those days were good and lots of heros for me then, just as there are for the modern day fan, i have had different favourites through the years but Nat is still my top favourite as he was the one who started it off for me.People ask me if todays footballers are better than the ones i grew up watching and to be honest todays footballers are head and shoulders above what the old time ones were, they are faster more skillful and more athletic.but ask one of em to head a leather ball with laces on a cold wet Saturday in january and i dont think many could or would and that is the difference,Nat would, could and did,all for 10 quid a week.

Revised Final Top 6 After 3 Games And Transfer Window.
I dont think we will be anywhere near a relegation fight. When they get the premiership out of their systems and learn what it takes to play in this league we should be challenging for a playoff place at least.
