  1. Can imagine their sighs of relief as we ticked towards the final whistle. Their earlier defeat being banished into the annals of "shit happens". Then holy shit buggerfucktwat.
  2. I wonder of there is any radio commentary available, like JD did for the Forest win? Would love to hear it. Ben's Vlogg will be interesting.
  3. Your heart would burst within a week.
  4. Think Apter has had plenty of opportunity. He hasn't been bad, just not impactful. I suspect Rodriguez will be getting a go somewhere in the team soon enough.
  5. Can't top that. Simply madness that end. Got Hull vibes.
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/cq57yjzqxv2t Some bizarre stats here. Their passing accuracy was considerably worse than ours, but the number of successful final third passes was significantly higher than ours. We won more tackles and aerial duels. Yet we were bobbins in the first half, got better, but only came to life late on.
  7. 😲 FUCK ME. No one saw that coming at half time. Remarkable, well done the subs, and that late show ability appears again. That may well put the Welshers in a mood! Maybe half time booing is the way to go! 😀 Just fucking stunned. I can't really drink anymore, but fuck it, tonight I'm having one!
  8. Dear me. None of us are happy at half time, but that is wrist slitting stuff.
  9. Whatever the opposition try to do, we have to have alternatives to overcome it.
  10. For the collective, they should be able to accommodate some grief. Just don't do it to individuals. Anyway, SS went to watch these, yet there is little evidence that that helped! He made some odd change against Blackpool that weren't necessary. Tool soundings from "Evatt" players. Having watched these, surely he knew they would press and be physical. Yet two in midfield, with one Sheehan. What is frustrating is the lack of adaptability on the pitch, and perhaps a horses for courses approach off it. He must be able to see when our players have their struggles. Probably too late now, but 3 at the back, wingbacks and 2 up top.
  11. Balls. Is this a game for a stiffer midfield?
  12. Not sure it's just Trump is it. Bit of an American trait is jingoism. Even Obama, upon nobbling Bin Laden, started with "ladies and gentlemen, we've got him". You would expect their top people to be more measured.
  13. Iirc there was a torture where someone was strapped down over a growing bamboo shoot. The plant would grow, and do its worst.
  14. Agree. Though on terrorists, where there is incontrovertible proof, then maybe. Maybe a date with gravity from a military plane at 10,000 feet. Do a job lot in one go. Splashdown over the Atlantic somewhere, providing mashed fish food.
  15. A preview of Cardiff's forthcoming fixtures. After Lincoln: Barnsley away. Tykes smarting, but still chance of playoffs. Draw. Exeter away. Grecians still smarting. Draw. Wycombe home. Wycombe still smarting (😀) and in with a chance of playoffs offs. Draw. Blackpool home. Relegation still a possibility and having to fight to stay up sees the effluent coasters surprise their hosts. Draw. Huddersfield away. Home team still with a chance of playoffs offs pull off a win to a panicking bluebirds. Port Vale home. Vale doomed and relaxed play with freedom. Nevertheless Cardiff scab a win with a last minute disputed penalty. Peterborough away. Home team on a run and wanting a play off birth. Draw. Us, home. We consolidate our narrow, single point position in second to 4 points. Reading away. Home team in with a chance of playoffs. Draw. Northampton home. Nobby does us a favour. Draw. Bolton promoted. Mansfield away. Relaxed and a solid win as they hold onto third above Bradford. Carlsberg.
  16. That's exactly what poster's have said. A logical approach to an impossible situation.
  17. Mis-translated? Bad AI or a bloke in weman's clothing?
  18. Dunno about that. They're at war with Afghanistan. Tough one to call... Meanwhile India is something of an adversary of China. Tick. An arch enemy of Pakistan. Tick. Have a bit of a soft spot for Russia. Cross. Where to bomb next! 🤣
  19. Not sure that that summary of last week is a fair reflection. They have been doing quite well. If we limited them to a 5 or 10 minute good spell then that's bloody good going away. Professional, proving first half. Gradually get on top, and then go for the jugular. Brilliant. Of course we've got very little chance of autos, but that is down to inconsistency earlier on, and two very consistent teams above us.
  20. Those two up front for them were magnificent that day. Yes they knew how to get at the ref, but they knew how to play too. Good partnership. Cunts.
  21. Presumably he doesn't know we have a defense treaty type agreement with Cyprus neither. Bit like Russia had with Ukraine, before attacking it. Where is the "international law" there, given we didn't.
  22. Both teams gain a point, or one gains nowt. Second place will do, so a defeat is better for us. Being somewhat pedantic, does anyone actually drop points? Teams only gain them.
  23. It was a bloody good attempt at hauling in a massive score. Whatever the minutiae of it all are, looking at it overall, it was a fine effort and a hell of a game.
