Personally I would hope they would have the sense to oppose all extremism, however they have set up as a protest group against Islamic extremists. Nothing wrong with that. If a little more awareness and readiness to tackle the issue by main stream politics had been forthcoming there wouldn't have been the desire for such a group to form. If a large number of folk from the financial sector had formed this group there wouldn't be a problem. Yes the eyes of everyone are on them, and fair enough, but give them a chance before condemning them.

My brother used to work for a firm in employment law.A customer had become suspicious of a couple of his employees so decided to covertly record their conversations. He contacted my brother in a bit of a state; the two guys were planning on killing him in order to take over the company themselves. He wasn't sure whether he could sack them because of his covert recording. My brothers company told him to sack their fucking arses immediately. A recording would be beneficial to protect himself should anyone else attempt to shaft him. He doesn't have to use it aggressively, only as a means of defence. A rock and a hard place here for manc, as if senior chaps find out some serious stuff been going on and that manc knew about it and did nothing they may be unimpressed. Manc- you said the other manager is OK but wants to let sleeping dogs lie, but you don't sound convinced. Not sure if you completely trust the fella, but as others have said do what you think you need to, to protect your own ass.

Put your phone on voice recorder. Quietly have a word with the other manager as you think you ought to, and explain you're happy to leave the decision with him, even if that decision rests uneasy with you. Leave the room and quickly save the recording onto a couple of storage items. See which way the land lies over time. You've got some evidence to back you up should you need it.

If they put their differences aside, and protest in a proper manner then maybe they might attract greater numbers of people who are also concerned about extremism on the streets, but who feel uneasy with some of the baggage they otherwise may bring. Nothing wrong with it at all. Good on them.

No more so than other if its not done right. Burnt meat etc can contain acrylamide, though its still open to debate how carcinogenic this is by consumption. Interestingly, its reckoned food cooked in oil/ fat that is too hot could be at risk in this way. Saturated fats can be heated to a higher temp than unsaturated oils, so for quick fast cooking, dripping is healthier.
