  1. Give the bloke a break. He's restructured the club to make this possible. Taken longer than we hoped, but its another step. Get the club on an even Kiel and not living beyond its means, and I don't give a toss whether he puts his own money in. Just want a sustainable club.
  2. Prefer the embargo gone.
  3. Had them out for the first time a little while ago (one at a time). Went pretty well really, unfortunately, my neighbours dog also came out and had a bit of a go at one. Knew it would happen at some stage so best to get it over with.
  4. 0-0 at half time, an unusually decent start from the whites, will yield a solitary shot on target. Ipswich will then gain the upper hand, with possession and chances, with the whites posing the odd threat on the break. Second half starts with Ipswich on the front foot. Taking the lead in the 56th minute. A period of soul searching and a substitution of two will follow, that actually gives the whites a bit of impetus. A good bit of play will see an equaliser in the 63rd minute. Not quite sure who, maybe Alf. Suddenly whites on top, groans in the home sections and panic in their defence. Madine will head what turns out to be the winner in the 78th minute, despite a flurry of home subs and some late desperate defending from the whites.
  5. Has the setting been altered? Usually a little dial inside Might be saying the obvious, but it sometimes gets inadvertently turned down.
  6. Not at all. Listened to quite a bit yesterday, and commentators said body language wasn't the best. The Essex non-game perhaps took the stuffing out of them.
  7. As he seems to be asking the st to back down, publicly, it would appear he's given up on them and is appealing the the membership. Could be interesting.
  8. Is it still making a slight noise; ie pump/motor working? Not an expert but I doubt a balloon would do the business.
  9. Bought it from Gregg's.
  10. Just noticed he's hit the big 40. Congratulations.
  11. Can't believe that! I'm sure it will pass fairly quickly.
  12. Yes indeed. Waiting for the crisis on banglaseh/Myanmar border to require yet more assistance.
  13. Reckon we might do better than expected. Reckon stoneman is showing a bit of promise; if the batting can improve up top, I have a feeling we could do quite well.
  14. No where near as bad as predicted. Heard nowt. Quite lucky re panels as most of the garden is hedging and puppy proof mesh! No trees down neither.
  15. Hope so. Can they have it all sorted by the time we leave? Anyway, got my pension statement the other week, if growth carries on like it is I'll be very happy. Something's working somewhere!
  16. Come on Aileen...
  17. They have to be transferred before we can change them. A load of bollocks but that's how they work it.
  18. Happy with it. Now its time to produce.
  19. Might not be so stupid. We're getting panned regularly, attack is the best form of defense and all that. Personally, the line against Wednesday worked well enough. Not sure if deryk is fit like.
  20. Aye, but that's only on the moved euro stuff isn't it? Not new stuff we create- or is it? I understand and agree with the point you're making, just happy to cut the government some slack while they get this sorted. As its never been done before, there must be a concern that too much delay will be harmful. But, if they fuck it up they'll get voted out next time any road.
  21. That makes sense. He went there, as a jazz enthusiast, loved it so much he gradually changed from brass band to jazz band. They now go all over the shop doing gigs.
