  1. It was -7 down there last night from what I've heard. They must have had a good idea it was going o be solid.
  2. Don't see how you could make clubs install undersoil heating unlsss they are given the money. In this situation though, the forecast told them it was going to be a cold night- could they not have called it earlier.
  3. Aye, they did invent gunpowder after all. In a stereotypical way wouldn't they pronounce it "gay fox" night. Plenty of plawn clackers available whilst watching the lockets.
  4. Won't they be doing street food and fireworks as part of the festival- might be worth a visit.
  5. Last time I was up there, seemed to be on the flight path for the airport, one after another. Must be twenty years ago mind.
  6. Nice place but don't the planes get in the way of the stars.
  7. Is that near Chu Man Phat.
  8. Like the Thai restaurants round there. Did a few when I worked there. Don't know if its still there, but a little one opened on Sackville street; was good and being a little out of Chinatown might be a bit quiter. Ikan. The old monkey nearby was great for ale if you're into joey holts.
  9. Not yet- Cassie's still here.
  10. Presumably the cleaners will be using flash.
  11. It doesn't say so; just no touching and filming. Could go with a cillit bang this.
  12. Bit grey Sunday but not as bad as this week apparently. Enjoy your egg!
  13. It cleared up earlier than expected and gave a lovely sunrise too- though red in the morning and all that. Glorious day, sun had warmth to it, birds singing and leaves opening on some hawthorn. Springlike.
  14. Not a bad hourly rate that. Just be careful where you put the brillo pads.
  15. Enough about spider- what about sam
  16. He's still sore from what happened. Just can't let it go- can understand his disappointment but he needs to move on. Either that or get a consortium together, buy the club and help bring good times back. That's not very likely though.
  17. I guess we'll see in due course. If it does go tits up we'll see what they're really made of. I understand and agree with concerns over their methods, but I can also understand their concerns about how the club seems to still be struggling- not so much the losing money situation (we knew that wasn't going to go overnight)- but the apparent difficulties between ka and dh and how its going to be resolved. If ka does succeed then great; again we'll see how the st evolves. Or dies.
  18. Speaking of money- when are you going? Just thinking about exchange rates and article 50.
  19. Agree with that. Four in twelve for a bottom of table side not too bad. Probably will try to loan him out though.
  20. You might be right, but can you say it as fact or is just how you feel.I genuinely don't know; either way, so will reserve judgement. Just as I'm doing with KA.
  21. A bunch of us decided to watch the (Superbowl) game overnight whilst at uni. I lasted about an hour or so and never seen a game since, nearly thirty years. Whenever a brief highlight comes on tele I glaze over. Can't get into it.
  22. A slightly fortuitous run out of Morgan. If he stays in then who knows...
