  1. They're fine. We were initially warned by the vet that there is a gene fault in dogs that can restrict certain treatments. Its rare, but just a bit more likely in collies, in particular lassie types. The vet was relaxed about giving them the spot on stuff, but said just be aware there is a risk of seizures or even death if they are susceptible. For £22 per pup for a DNA check, seems a no brainer to have them tested. If they have the gene then there are alternative prevention medicines.
  2. Not just me then. Phew. That being said I'm going to the macron today.
  3. Just don't see why everything is apparently so difficult, plenty is Brits live in non EU countries or vice versa without hassle. Moreover, plenty of folk in Spain have money/pensions, a new punitive system is not going to help the Spanish economy.
  4. Must have been. Couldn't understand a shaved style. No option now, but my swede burns like buggery, within a few minutes, would much prefer some protection from a full head of hair.
  5. Don't let the cat eat slugs. Lung worm is gradually spreading, may already be round your way. New products available to prevent them causing harm, but be worth checking. Its actually caused us a right headache with these pups, as collies are at a higher risk of possessing a faulty MDR-1 gene, which means that the lungworm prevention stuff could actually cause serious harm. Now having DNA tests to check them out. Slugs are cunts.
  6. Isn't that going back to a debate a while ago- nations can recharge the country from which the patient came from, something that the NHS was failing to do very well. Post brexit,I would assume that ex-pats would need some sort of health insurance, unless a deal similar to what currently exists remains in place.
  7. I've already told the family I'm going out to the theme tune to the mission. (Gabriel's oboe) Proper goose bumps stuff.
  8. Bang on. Maybe a bit of pain whilst rebalancing, but an opportunity to get back to making a bit more shit.
  9. Any miniscule gaps in brickwork/pipes etc are easy for them. Can you house train hedgehogs to go round and mop them up of a night time?
  10. Don't forget the large potential for wrist slashing and not fit to wear the shirt at around 5.00 pm this evening.
  11. Didn't really have many dealings with Paddy- as a head I suppose we wouldn't. He did arrive one break time, as one lad inadvertantly tapped football from under a desk, I gently rolled it back so he could return it. He took it that we were playing football and we were dispatched to pick litter up in the grounds for a lunch period.
  12. In one. Left two years after article 50 was triggered. Nothing can change that unless choose to go back in. He's just getting twitchy about the banana.
  13. Get the odd one or two, sometimes one will migrate into the living room, leaving trails across the carpet.
  14. Maybe he just doesn't want to go where certain others have gone before.
  15. I too watched sully, just a few days ago. With some trepidation following the outcry of large parts being inaccurate. Just treated it as a fiction and really enjoyed it.
  16. Do you feel that's a justified response, or a bag of bollocks? Just wondering what the next step would be if you didn't believe them.
  17. Warhurst was a walking sicknote. In fairness to elliot, a double leg break and as long period out won't have helped his overall fitness.
  18. Will the sausage shop be offering a "mod" special?.
  19. Not the right forum for a lot of detail. It might be a line in the sand though; nothing more to be offered.
  20. How the hell did anyone see it? One hell of a lot of suction on them buggers
  21. I had Townsend as form teacher in the first year- therefore we were in the same class. So who are you?...
  22. 1980-1985. As said before, never had a problem with Townsend. Do you remember Mr Richardson- looked like a wookie- taught maths and was a crackshot with a piece of chalk. Only had the abortionist for the occasional pe lesson.
