Danny Shittu
I always thought Foster called for it tbh! My opinion on him has been one of a strong, experienced centre half who is not the best technically. Sort of like a compromise of O'Brien (experience) and Cahill(strength, power) therefore hopefully allowing him to fill in for both with at least some success.

First Manager To Get The Sack?
Does it count if Keegan quits first? Or is it a genuine sacking? If so, Ince.

Megson Really Musn't Rate Vaz Te
1st game for the club having not played a game since May and Riga is suddenly awful? I didn't see the game if I'm honest so I can't comment on how he played but surely you've got to give the lad more than one game.

Seb Larsson - ?6m
he was also according to Birmingham fans one of their best players last season. Also small thought what with the 3 Villa signings last year, possibly 2 this year from Birmingham and maybe going in for Greeningalong with our new Wolves kit. Are we trying to become the West Midlands?

Fulham Sign A Defender
I hope that's not too much of a euphimism

Good Article Re Super Kev
The problem is less shooting ability more the fact he's just ran 100 yards to win the ball so isn't in the box. Not that he's on par with Anelka in terms of shooting, but I think we'd all find it hard to be on the half way line after having gone to kick some soft left back, make a pass and be in the box.

4 Nil Up At Donny
Anyone got the goals? I have a feeling I just missed them on ssn.
-
4 Nil Up At Donny
I know I'm going to most likely regret this comment but: I really do have a good feeling about Elmander.
-
4 Nil Up At Donny
Agreed, I'm still peeved over how O'Brien played last season at home when he was right back and strolled back to right back when the oppostion were countering! Would also have Al Habsi but for me we've got two GK who are pretty much equal in ability so it doesn't make too much difference for me.

W.b.a Bid!
According to BBC gossip (so not majorly reliable) a ?1.75mil bid has been turned down for the lad, would not surprise me if that's WBA searching in desperation.

West Brom Agree Deal For Bougherra
Which means they're defenderless; ?2.5mil for Meite may be back on the cards!

Marouane Chamakh And Barda In = Davies Out?
...When not playing against us, where he seems to be able to show the ability of a young Thierry Henry!
-
W.b.a Bid!
He never smiles either. Can remember a few photos last year when some of the players went to a hospital he went with. Nolan and Davies and them lot were all smiling and he were there looking like a right marcy bum!

Barry Staying With Villa Apparently
Well that's gonna be awkward in the dressing room! They'd be crazy not to accept that

Who Get's Your Vote ?
Gudni, maybe not the most able or best out of that lot, but that man was something special.

20.3m = 1 Rk
Minus practically every Irish Liverpool supporter getting the shirt with Keane on their back (and there area a lot of Irish Liverpool supporters.) Minus how he can help Liverpool get more money compared to what they got before plus reputation so better players will come meaning they win more. Yeah, he probably still is overpriced but Muamba wasn't? It's the fate of every footballer from the British Ilses to be grossly overpriced!

Good Riddance Diouf
Still no mention of a definitive price, and with these nonsense "undisclosed fees" practically everywhere I doubt we'll actually find out.
-
We've Had A Bid For Diouf
He's meant to have had the medical, completed personal terms and is merely to be unveiled.
-
According To The Mirror...
He was the only Reading player I noticed last year, 6 goals mostly last minute with a struggling club(I realise we may well be the same but still 6 crucial goals could have got us plenty more points.) And with prices reported of ?3mil in places because of a clause, he may well be a decent option, along with the growing Prem experience he has got.
-
We've Had A Bid For Diouf
Agreed, Taylor has had half a season not match fit and gave more than Diouf gave the whole of last season. Maybe Taylor won't beat 3 players on the byline, but he also won't fail in beating that oe too many which Diouf attempted far too many times. Taylor and Elmander are for me a match made in heaven, let Diouf go and who knows he may help us! He won't be starting with a great impression at the club and this could spell the start of the end for Keane!

We've Had A Bid For Diouf
Money? Anyone actually got a price I keep hearing ?2.5mil, but the occasional ?5mil crops up!

Goalies
Fair enough, it just seemed slightly irrelevant in context.

Away Form Is The Key To Success.
But how do changing goals and targets actually help change where we finish? We'll finish where we finish through performances on the pitch.
