  1. MickBrown of shovelling shit fame. Yes - I went to Bradford too although I may have been a couple of years after.. (91-95).
  2. http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/viewtop...t=11790&start=0 After the tales from Portsmouth last weekend I wonder if Mick is still up for you lot travelling with his pilot mate.
  3. If the club has any sense they'll have subbed out the online ticketing part of the site to a company that does know what it's doing. They can blame someone else as well when it goes wrong.

Everton will enter the CL at 3rd qualifying round stage for the right to go into the group stages. There are some decent teams at this stage so Everton could quite easily get knocked out. Liverpool had a scare against AK Graz last year. http://www.soccerboards.com/cl3qr_results.php The 16 teams losing from these ties join 32 others at the 1st Round UEFA Cup e.g teams like Bolton. 32 have qualified from previous UEFA Cup rounds giving a total of 80 teams. 40 ties = 40 winners becomes 8 groups of 5. So how can a team from a "big" country suddenly acquire a bye to the next round? It upsets the whole tournament.
  5. Pablo, We were discussing Everton. You said "refs don't like us". Most would agree that games at Goodison, you easily get the majority of decisions. Refs are intimidated by the atmosphere which pisses all over the Reebok. With regard to BWFC, I'd say our record with refs is very mixed especially at home. Steve Dunn ignoring the foul on Hierro being the latest prime example. And for every undeserved decision Diouf does get, I bet he deserves at least 5 that he doesn't.
  6. And it's absolute bullshit to suggest you don't get a rub of the green off referees when clearly at Goodison you do.
  7. And Barry Knight wasn't too bad for you Saturday. The free kick given for the first goal was a joke.
  8. Even Millwall went straight into the 1st rounds proper. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...ope/3603994.stm Therefore we won't know our opponents until late August assuming things stay the same.
  9. There are other things in life than football. The publicity is because Andrew Gartside has launched an appeal for donations to a charity he has set up. http://www.thisisbolton.co.uk/lancashire/b...HEALTHTOP0.html
  10. I have this vision of me with about 17 internet browsers open as the draw is being made.
  11. Pablo - You remember that burglar he apprehended whilst they were robbing his house? My mate was in court when he appeared before the magistrate. In the course of "restraining" the said burglar, he's somehow managed to sustain 2 black eyes and a very swollen, heavily red nose. His face was a bloody mess apparently. He's also into pigeon racing and another of my mates met him. Said he was a lovely fella. Must have a thing against the Krauts though. Didn't he tw??t Bobic as well?

Joe ragging Cole? Better than Rooney? I despair.
  13. Indeed..... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/printFriendly...599-481,00.html
  14. Thought this summed up him quite nicely... http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=1...ytoid=534859601
  15. You could potentially be losing Stubbs, Weir, Naysmith and Pistone this summer. That's a big chunk out of what's usually been a successful defence this season. Must be a bit worrying??
  16. I wouldn't mind Patrik Berger.
  17. Went to the Seville game earlier in the season and met up with another Bolton fan. He'd contacted the club who said there'd been absolutely zilch interest in the official travel to the game. And that's with their competitive pricing policy :^o Ended up by chance watching the match with the Seville Ultras. Wouldn't have done it for a competitive game though 8-[
  18. ....and Alan Hansen in on the "Lets Praise Bolton" bandwagon http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...rem/4456219.stm
  19. I'm sure they'll be thrilled.
  20. I'm in Hamburg for St George's Day. Anyone got a message for the Erics? 8-[

  23. 1978 - Welsh Grand Slam. Pope Dies. Liverpool win European Cup. 2005 - Welsh Grand Slam. Pope Dies. ???
  24. You could start an online petition and use that to collect some signatures www.petitiononline.com
  25. Agreed. Despite now having 5 entrants, only 2 African teams have ever reached the quarter finals of the World Cup. Anyone name them?
