I was hoping he'd settle for the mythical "pay as you play" deal

indeed, I'd imagine perfect for somebody like Hull, or one of the recently relegated lot
  3. we're looking at doing them in the near future, they look stunning
  4. I'm not surprised, still, we get to vote this lot out in a couple of years and then can reverse that downward trend.

Can't help but think that could be a great move for him The German football nonces like @tomski , @DazBob and @Big E will love it
  6. He won't have a choice, thankfully.
  7. Faster responses, and higher limits. I can easily use my free limits in an hour or so, so I need the paid version(s)
  8. I did wonder...seems odd, is he just traveling with the squad for experience?

They signed ACD on a 4 year deal, if that 3rd year is spent out on loan (like the previous 2) then maybe they don't fancy him. Would they loan him out, and then let him come back in his final year, when he'll be able to walk away for nothing? I'd be surprised if they don't try and sell him this year, whilst he has some value, especially now they've signed (or are about to) this bloke for £21M If they're happy to loan him or again, we have a chance. If they want to sell, we don't, I wouldn't have thought
  10. Isn't there some sort of similar "vigil" in Bolton today for this murdered lad? Serious question, what sort of grief junky goes to these type of events?
  11. Imagine the outrage if there were "Straight Pride" events etc 😀 To be honest, I know somebody who always says this when he hears of any "LGBTQ" type event. He'll happily sit there chuntering away on his own about it for hours on end

Now Leicester have dropped, he could also end up back there. Although my Brother-in-Law is hoping not, as he doesn't want to have his final memories of Vardy being when he's old and dog shit

    I heard two different versions.......
  14. It's all over the place, and 27 wickets in under 2 days, is incredible, you'd be gutted if you have Day 3 tickets.....as I'm not sure you'll get to see a right lot of cricket.

I'd not be surprised to see them finally flush this year, it's about time they suffered a relegation

I agree I can't see him going to managerless Blackburn, but they have still been spending money, didn't they spend about £3M on Jorgensen in January, and they've just agreed to sign that French midfielder they had on loan last year for about £1.5M as well I believe (Moussa Baradji)
  17. Perplexity, usually, but only because I get the "pro" version free of charge, other than that Claude
  18. If Lammy said it was night time, I'd still check outside to be sure. He's a dick it is interesting how the narrative does seem to be that there is a Leadership election. If Burnham does get beat (which I don't think he will) then the threat may well go away, as I don't see Streeting being able to oust Starmer. If Burnham does succeed, then I reckon it'll be him, and not Streeting or Raynor who will have to start the challenge (which they'll obviously then join in on)
  19. sickening
  20. He recently said it was larger than every single skyscraper in the world.....which obviously it isn't at all. He is weird
  21. Sweep replied to miamiwhite's topic in Behind The Stands
Does that mean that people think they're all doing badly.......(clearly some much worse than others, but everybody as a minus doesn't look terrific for our politics does it)
  22. Sweep replied to miamiwhite's topic in Behind The Stands
Indeed, people try to use it as some sort of badge of honour, I know that Starmer appears to, The reality is that there is almost no such thing these days

I agree Although, even without going through his past, he doesn't come across very well at all. I think if Reform were serious about winning this seat (and I'm not sure they are) they would have put a far higher caliber individual in the running, in order to give Labour a bloody nose. It may suit them to have Burnham win, and then further destabilize Labour by running for the leadership.

yep, she must have something about her, but she does come across as fucking gormless
  25. Talking of which, did anybody ever own one of these types of contraptions, back in the day, before people got boiling water taps?
