  1. Aye I agree, that's what I'd do But she had learning difficulties, her 18 year old daughter had a mental age of four... I guess it's not that easy for some folk And let's face it you shouldn't have to move because some scrotes are playing up
  2. She should have called the police, a lot, every time it happened, and they should have dealt with it I'm not saying that's the right way to do it, but that's what SHOULD happen Trouble is the useless bastards would leave you high and dry for even more abuse if you did that The neighbours should also have stepped in, surely She actually called the police 33 times in seven years, wrote to her MP, etc etc and nobody did f?ck all They even know the identitiy of one of the worst culprits but not a single arrest was ever made Trouble is most folk in this country act all high and mighty until it's their kids to blame and then it's 'don't you blame little Johnny'... so many people have no control of their own kids and let them do whatever the fuck they like...
  3. to be fair he didn't actually say what you are all castigating him for 'West Ham play the right way' is just a tired old cliche, Hughes slips into cliche talk a fair bit. He used 'in fairness' in three successive sentences and I only listened to a small part of the interview p.s. I've never noticed this West Ham style people pap on about. They are just sh?t as far as I can tell.
  4. That's the trouble with this stuff isn't it Always chronically one sided
  5. I bet you've made a thousand other ridiculous claims too, but you're not banging on about them
  6. Massive win. The late goal the other night (and last week) felt like they could be turning points. Let's hope so.
  7. Fair play, at least we have some variety in the team now, very positive for an away game I'd expect 4-5-1 though
  8. ?4.5m sounds like a player fee doesn't it Taylor? Although we sold Anelka during that window so shouldn't have been hard up The 10% rate was accompanied by a ?620k arrangement fee!
  9. Fair point And if you take the hotel money out, our % of turnover used for wages must be pretty scary This was for the season that Sammy Lee had a squad of about 30 isn't it? And Anelka was here for half of it, Diouf, Campo, Stelios... could be a different story now
  10. Dunno what you mean I was just thinking if I had serious money and could stick it somewhere at 10% interest plus a 10-15% bonus up front, I'd jump at the chance As would any investors
  11. I'm no expert in this at all But a few things jump out The Hotel is a great asset, ?8m a year for a club our size is VERY handy money and certainly would be if we ever went down and somehow shed the debt The loans from Davies are incredible - ?4.5m@10%, he charged ?623k arrangement fee? That's a bit steep to say the least, fucking hell The debt needs managing down - again this season we've spent a good few million, I'd have rather seen ?2m off the debt than Robinson signing, for one
  12. The Salford one didn't have the cash in the end did he?
  13. I'll be shocked if he plays a similarly 'attacking' lineup in the league
  14. Tis just you, they are very similar, low goal threat, low creativity, 'water carriers' Of course you can pick subtle differences but if we have 3 or 4 of these in the side at the same time it produces horrible football Yet the man insists on sticking with it Not to mention he hardly plays 3 out and out attacking players to complement these guys
  15. Why the fucking hell would you add 5 minute 20 of injury time for goals and subs? You're not seeing the wood for the trees here Also the whole idea of holding a board up is so that we don't have these situations, and everyone knows the crack But what we've ended up with is we play the time on the board THEN we play the ref's own little totally arbitrary and unexplainable bit of time too
  16. That's be right, United are making up the rules as they go now When they sent on Carrick I thought these c?nts will also give em an extra minute for that Happened too often to be coincidence
  17. I'm not angry about it, I'm in my mid thirties now and I've just come to accept the cheating that goes on At points last season it was farcical, game after game, decision after decision, they were gifted the title IMO, Disgusting, but unchangeable
  18. I just got a HTC Hero, called a 'G2' on t mobile It's really nice But truth be told I'm now paying more for unlimited mobile internet, and could probably hack NASA with it, but all I do is play the chess game. Hardly even make a phone call. And the camera is shit on these new fangled smartphones. I'll be going back to basics in 18 months I think.
  19. He comes across as an arrogant cunt that's for sure
  20. I've done a fair bit of work on my house (for someone who works in an office and knew nowt at all about DIY 3 years ago) but don't be tempted to fuck about with electric or gas. It's just too dangerous.
  21. My main gripe with Megson to be honest We have the perfect guy (Davies) to play up front alone and we stick him out wide, and hang our record signing out to dry in a lone striker role he can't play It's gone on since Anelka signed and it should have stopped as soon as he left
  22. Still can't believe it after all this time
  23. Absolutely. I still kind of like to see them do well, I was willing Scotland on the other night, but there's also part of me that thinks 'good' when they lose now. The depth of anti-English sentiment is pathetic, it goes well beyond football too. I've met people who are so rabidly anti-English it's borderline mental illness. The daft thing is it's groundless. Idiots.
  24. My recollection is that it was about a quarter of that... we're talking 1989 ish before the big football boom, so a lot of cash
  25. That's the thing isn't it If he was an illusionist you'd look for the trickery But he says it's just reading people's signals... which annoys me, because I haven't the faintest idea how you do that, why doesn't he give us at least one or two little hints?
