7 points are we in.

We’ll do that.

Rather not go into the last game needing something! 3 home wins and a nice relaxed last game of the season.

Unbelievable ! What’s your reasoning ?

Just think he’s ok in a league one team that’s built around him, he’s definitely a player you need to accommodate and get players in around him to do the hard graft, he’s decent league 1 nothing more.

Don’t agree Mounts he’s quality and creates a lot for his forward’s definitely can do it in the championship.

If we keep playing at these levels won’t matter if we get into play offs, it’s not good enough.

I think its more about getting into the play offs as an achievement in itself, a sign of progress and all that, a statement that we are big hitters in L1.  I don't think anyone thinks we are one of the best 3 teams in the league but we'd have a free hit in the play offs, nothing to lose except a few weeks of off season.

Good point but we should've won. Thought we played decent enough but our finishing was poor.

We could quite easily have conceded when Morley played a bad pass and Trafford had to make a good save.

Three big home games in a row now.

Come On You Whites!!!

We need a Barry Bannan !

That goal from Bannan tonight was fantastic.  It reminded me of SAVVVVAAAGGGE at Wrexham (which was probably from about 8 yards but 25 yards in my mind).

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with your assessment of Thomasson, but I must admit if there's one player I would almost expect to miss from a couple of yards its him.  Yet he can ping a 30 yard pass on to someone's toenail which I'd say only Morley, Santos and Johnstone can match.  Tomo is also the last player I'd expect to control a ball easily, it always seems to bounce off him and often his 2nd touch is a tackle.  May well be a L1 player for years but certainly not going any higher, one of the many that will be finding a new club should we go up.

Can tackle and pass, but can't score? Not unique amongst midfielders.

Young player brought on by the club, just back after nasty injury, done a job for the team that Sheehan can't, but of course has to be condemned as not good enough and incapable of playing any higher.

Just fairly recently given a new extension, and considering Evatt and the owners' ambitions I'd suggest that the management team feel he's one of the ones they see as capable of developing and improving. Hardly the actions you'd expect given you know they're going to release him in the event of promotion.

That's a bit dramatic!  I think he's a L1 player, no shame in that, I've no problem with him at all.  If he goes higher I'll be the first to applaud and say I was wrong.  I'm unsure what the problem is with giving an opinion on a Bolton player that isn't influenced by whether or not he's had an injury, or his age or length of contract.  On length of contract, R Williams has got a long contract and I'll stick my neck out and say he won't play many championship games for us.

Frustrating.

But we take care of business next week and we're home and dry.

The only thing more embarrassing than "Dempsey twats who he wants" is the little wave of laughter after it stops.

I also don’t think he’s good enough for where we want to be, but in a scrappy game on a shit pitch I thought he broke up play well and was important to us dominating the midfield.

He can’t fucking shoot though!

He tackles like Muamba, he works like Muamba, he keeps it simple like Muamba and his shooting and finishing is.......exactly like Muamba :)

He couldn’t lace Muambas boots.

Despite the epic misses, would have taken that beforehand.

If we can't do it with the 3 consecutive home games, then no-one else to blame but us really

8 points from 12 with 3 aways from 4 is not too shabby

There was a time when 2 points a game was considered promotion form. Not sure what people expect anymore.

It's probably for the best that the second half sitters were a full pitch length away... we thought George's miss was a corner 😬. Christ I don't want to watch that again.

We'd have all taken a point beforehand, but that feels like two dropped. A shame that, after our goal coming from a deflection after a shot, that we didn't gamble more around the box near the end. But then, with skied long range efforts a-plenty... shooting practice all week needed.

Still well in our hands.

Aye, The lad's done nowt but improve since he's been here and is becoming more dominant with each run in the team he's given.
