Fleetwood (H)

The time has come, a must win. A cup final, possibly one of two.

3-0.

Progress. That’s all we expect. Irrespective of the outcome in the play-offs we’ve had a bloody great season. UTW.

Absolute bollocks. Some people will search for for something negative when there’s absolutely no need. Did you hear IE after Accrington? He couldn’t have been any more praiseworthy of us fans.

Results matter which is true, however I can't recall us playing well in either of those wins and draws in particular.

It is all well and good saying performances don't matter results do, without trying to sound patronising, but the better the performance the better probability of a good result.

At this point of the season it is about getting over the line and have a go in the play offs lottery.

But we've had a lot of poor performances particularly recently and these will need improving for sure for next season.

If only there was somewhere that we could refer to to gauge performances over a season

I think Lostock's point is that, just possibly, the team has deteriorated in the last few months and that some results might have flattered us (not all).

The players should feel pressured

I think Evatt, quite rightly, will do everything he can to do the exact opposite.

Sure!

Nowt to play for for these lot.

Odds for

On the beach 3/1

One last shithousing to fuck over Bolton's promotion push 1/5

Somewhere between the two 17/20

(made up odds for anyone who is rainman)

I'm saying nothing...

Nowt to play for but they put 5 past Accrington a fortnight ago - and then couldn't score against FGR so f*** knows what's going on with them.

But it's all about us.

Just fucking win. There is nothing else to be said.

A fairly accurate picture of League 1 as a whole.

Plymouth & Ipswich generally better than most, Forest Green generally (but not always) poor and then 21 inconsistent shades of average in between them.

Toal will start.
MJ might be rewarded by getting Morley's shirt.

I agree.

And there’s no way (and nor should he) he’s going 4-4-2

                      Trafford

         Jones.    Toal.  Johnston

Bradley.     MJ.     Sheehan    John

                       Dempsey

                Charles.     Kachunga

This.

Is Kieron lee still alive?

for me if toal is fit to play then it’s thanks to MJ but back on the bench (that’s not me saying he’s shit or anything)

We need to create more and with 3 at the back I personally don’t think the MJ role is required

Between Morley and MJ that's as good as we've got

John for his corners if nothing else

It should be good enough to finish 5th

Completely agree White, I genuinely can’t understand why he wasn’t preferred to Shoretire on Tuesday when we needed a cool head? Fleetwood may have nothing to play for but the last thing they want is us promoted so they’ll be trying as hard as they can to deny us. I don’t essentially have a problem with IEs style it’s just that we don’t have a striker worth talking about to finish moves off and include Dion in that. Imagine if we had a Super John or Andy Walker with this team behind them?

I can only presume KL still hasn’t recovered from his injury

i know it’s all done now but makes you wonder what the cost would’ve been to sign Alfie May instead of spunking money & wages on victor, dan & Jerome

But would he fit into the fairly robotic Evatt system? He seems to have a lot of free rein where he is which he might not get here?

If Lee isn't really fit enough to come on, he shouldn't be on the bench.

He is the ideal player to help unlock deep, packed defences.

Just chucking on strikers, and Shoretire, doesn't seem to solve the issue.

We don’t have any

Haha.

Point taken.

I wouldn't be concerned if we went with one up top, with Dempsey and particularly Lee getting forward and making supporting runs.

So strange that Kachunga was so effective at Wembley yet doesn't do much elsewhere.

Has Kachunga started a game since Wembley?
