Fleetwood (H)

The time has come, a must win. A cup final, possibly one of two.

Progress. That’s all we expect. Irrespective of the outcome in the play-offs we’ve had a bloody great season. UTW.

Absolute bollocks. Some people will search for for something negative when there’s absolutely no need. Did you hear IE after Accrington? He couldn’t have been any more praiseworthy of us fans.

  • Mate lives over there - spent a couple of weeks over for his wedding just before Covid hit, stayed in Cottesloe just back from the beach. Some place, not sure we went to Rockingham (we did drive the c

Must win. Any win

Another shithouse team, can’t wait.

Any win please

Is that thug Scott Brown still manager of these - followed by thug Joey Barton at Bristol??

In for a fun last 2 games then

Last night has piled loads of pressure onto this. Fleetwood with nothing to play for but likely to play exactly the same as Accrington did last night.

Any win, ideally with a performance to indicate a reaction to last night.

Fleetwood very adept at parking the bus  holding us to goalless draw at HP and Barton sent team out in his own image last night. Luckily a strong enough ref to clamp down.

The players should feel pressured and might have needed a kick up the arse because we've not been great since Wembley.

They've got a job to do and they need to go get it done

Not looking forward to this at all.

Not sure that's a factor.  They were clearly trying their tripe out last night, not sure what "getting the job done" would look like, they play to their max and the manager's instructions every game from what I'm seeing.

Our build up play is too slow teams can get back into the defensive shape as soon as they lose the ball but this is how IE wants to play.

I don't think Evatts style is bad though, it's why we have made so much progress. Yeah theres loads to improve upon, especially when we are too slow with the ball.

However, it's his style which is allowing us to dominate the control of games and have so many chances, yet it comes down to the players who are not putting them away.

Whether we need somebody in the back staff who's an attacking specialist or a whole new front line or a combination of both, I don't know. But the point is we are creating and have been all season, but for the amount of chances we've converted, it's so poor.

Like I said before, Burton have scored more than us. It's been the limitation of our season: Pressing - Great, Possession - Great, Defence - Excellent, Attacking - Poor.

Charles has scored 20 this season but even him with the amount of chances he's had he could've had 30 easily!

1-1

You’re right, we’ve not been great since Wembley, but we’ve  still managed W3 D2 L1.

Disaster written allover it

Upgraded to LOV as last game of the season

A rare home game on the pop to hopefully dull the pain a bit. Just get a win ffs.

Results matter which is true, however I can't recall us playing well in either of those wins and draws in particular.

It is all well and good saying performances don't matter results do, without trying to sound patronising, but the better the performance the better probability of a good result.

At this point of the season it is about getting over the line and have a go in the play offs lottery.

But we've had a lot of poor performances particularly recently and these will need improving for sure for next season.
