You genuinely can't go off pre-season, especially earlier in pre-season.

If that same talent spotter that brought us Jerome and Adeboyejo in January is still at work, we've got problems. Terrible waste of £1m and plenty of wages no doubt.

My worry is we are trying the same methods as last season with less quality personnel.

I dont think its dramatic to say we need some bodies and spark in pretty sharpish if we are going to be punching.

Im as pro Evatt and Markham as anyone and fully believe they will have plans in place, but we cant go in to this season with this current sqaud, playing the same way we did last season if we want to be up there punching.

Im pretty sure everyone at the club realises this and probably doesnt need saying.

Agree there both shit but we didn’t spend that much on them 500k on one and the other was a free

The aim is promotion, they know the squad isn't quite good enough

We had targets 

Some didn't come off 

So now we have to wait to see who's becoming available as the window progresses and the merry go round starts 

IE wanted everyone in early doors 

It didn't happen 

So now we have to wait and be patient
