Been to hundreds of race meetings over the years.

Women dressed to the nines, drinking @ 9AM and rolling around on the floor by 6PM!!!!!

Flat “behaviour” tends to be worse due to the summer weather.

Don’t tend to see it as much over the sticks in the winter.

Some states, men & women, at Cartmel today.

The heady mix of warm sunshine and a "bring as much of your own ale as you can carry" policy.

I prefer the Monday - Friday meetings for that reason… in saying that the worst behaviour I’ve seen was a Friday Royal Ascot meeting when youngish lads dressed as toffs kicking the shit out of each other.

Be a funny one playing that lot though as playing them on a Saturday would undoubtedly increase the police bill. Especially if they go down and are giddy looking forward to a season of different aways, winning every week etc
