Other than his stint in charge, your going back over 60 years since its been other than Old Firm* *Dundee Utd won one title whilst he was in charge of Aberdeen Quote

Rival Son Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Not with Aberdeen or Dundee United, he wasn’t. Much easier with Rangers or Celtic. Quote
Dr. Feelgood Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago No surprises about Scotg Parker though, tbh, I never got why he had the job in the first place. It'd be good to see an ownership one day say "he was on a hiding to nothing but he did all he could & we're sticking with him". Quote

His record of getting clubs promoted from the championship probably played a part Quote
jmjhb Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Parker's Burnley's defence was genuinely astonishing in the Championship. Then this year they have the worst defence in the PL! Quote

Fairly sure every promotion was helped by parachute payments and/or having a shit hot squad for the championship - Fulham, Bournemouth, Burnley. It would be interesting to see him manage a "normal" club like a Bristol City or Millwall or come down to L1 and manage Barnsley etc. Quote
