How many times he he so called retired?

I'm sure he said that the Palace job would be his last when he joined them...in 2007

A managerial appointment we could have done without, timing wise.  Charlton, bottom of the form table last 10 games, appointed Nathan Jones.  They've got 2 games before us so hopefully new manager bounce will be out of the way by next Saturday.

Right place right man for Luton

Exposed as shite at Stoke and Southampton

I agree he looked out of his depth at Southampton, but he only got 3 months.  Plenty of good manager's have had a poor 9 months at Stoke recently!  (IE was no better in his first half a season here, and he's not shite).  Not sure how getting a team from L2 to the championship play offs (in 2 spells) can be put down to right place right man.  Surely requires tactical nous, man management, good recruitment, organisation etc.  Anyway, who cares, as long as we win next week he can be as good or bad as he wants for the rest of the season.

He reminds me of Keith hill

Great for Rochdale

Didn't manage more than a year/season anywhere else

Can see Moyes appearing in this thread soon

Can still qualify for the CL if they win the EL, think he'll stay whilst they are still in that

he should be given a new contract before getting sacked

8th level on points with newcastle, they are exactly where they should be in the league, european trophy delivered however tinpot it is, and they've lost their best player

The frustration for clubs like West Ham, Villa etc they're only going to trouble the top 4 if 3 of the 'big 6' have a bad season. It's why I'm baffled they don't go all out in the cups and Europe.

The only way they'll break the top 4 is with the champions league money and kudos coming in regularly.

Fans would much rather win the cups than celebrate finishing 4th and get knocked out by Villarreal in the qualifying round.

To be fair, that previous big four of Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea has now grown to include the likes of Spurs and obviously City but with the likes of Villa, Newcastle and Wet Spam also branching out it’s a lot more competitive than it has been which inevitable means “big” clubs missing out! Shame ain’t it? 🙂

... & Everton. Don't forget Everton.

Always self appointed into the 'big six' and part of the Premiership hierarchy back in the day. I always suspected the other 5 met & then called them later.
