Most the Mackems I know loved Mowbray and wanted him to stay so he's probably on a hiding to nothing

was odd to get rid of Mowbary when they did

from what I saw online, fans were either gutted or saying it was the right time, whatever the fuck that means, because they were up their aiming for the play offs

right time for them probably meant they had newcatle in the cup and their best chance of winning was new manager bounce

and now they seem to think it's the right time to sack Beale, on the verge of the play offs

Work with a Sunderland fan who already wants him gone. He strikes me as a bloke who does good presentations and probably has some good ideas but not a manager. Think he may have interviewed for us at some point

I'm wondering if that was Neil Critchley?  Both ex Liverpool coaches, both worked with Gerrard at Villa then got the QPR manager's job on the back of it.  Strangely similar career paths, I think Critchley has proved himself more than Beale so far.

Only Critchley had the honour of playing for Leigh RMI though.

Quite like Critchley as a coach but never been hugely convinced as a manager.

Mowbray is a solid set of hands for a few years. Think he's a little underrated.
