Wycombe drawn two and lost one of last three. Don’t have a deep squad and they could lose our best midfielder (apparently) in January.

They’ll not finish near top two.  Bloomfield might decide it’s a step up worth taking.

Although didn’t similar happen to Oxford at about this point last season too?

So what you’re saying? Wycombe fall away then come back to make the playoffs on the last day; then beat us in the final? Evatt out

A few people suggesting IE could be the man for Millwall

Fck. Can you imagine how the culture vultures of the New Den's 'Crazy Corner' (aka. 'The whole of the New Den') would cope with Tippy-Tappy ????

I do think Wycombe will finish in the play offs. I think we 'might'.

Neither of us will be top 2. Stranger things have happened. But if it did, Evatt might want to look at a witness protection programme 🙂

He might but it didn’t go too well for his mate Gareth did it, although I’m sure it did financially. 😉

Looking at the L1 form table, yes they've drawn the last 2 (Exeter A and Reading H) but they won their last EIGHT before that. Incredible consistency.   Surely we aren't including the cup when assessing form?

Talking of in-form teams, Huddersfield fans were very anti-Duff around the time they lost in the FA Cup at Tamworth.  Now they've won 7 and drawn 2 of their last 9 league games.

I'd think Millwall's fan base would like their football a bit more up and at 'em than Evatt would serve up

Hard to think of a club and manager less suited!  Unless I missed the time Pulis was Liverpool manager.

Fair point about the cup. But plenty here were happy to use it as a stick to beat Evatt with when we drew with Villa.

Anyway. Wycombe won’t last the pace (in my opinion). But I’m usually wrong 😑

You mean teams go through good, bad and average form throughout the course of a season?

Someone should let our fanbase know.

I think he'll stay and see the job out based on the fact he only ever played for Wycombe, 488 games over 19 years in 3 divisions

Just seen Matt Bloomfield is favourite for Millwall job.

That would be fantastic.

Who the fuck is Matt Bloomfield Road?

I really had no idea that was the case. Fair play to him!

Not sure about Wycombe not lasting the pace if they can keep hold of their squad in January and maybe even add to it I don’t see any reason why they can’t. They’re the best team I’ve seen this season and next Friday will be a tough one. They don’t have a big squad so injuries may stall them but like Oxford last year who were also un fancied you just never know. 🤷‍♂️

I got pelters for putting “Wanderers have finally sacked the manager” in our WhatsApp group… 🙃

Maybe this is the week for Wanderers to change managers?  Wycombe might lose Bloomfield to Millwall, do these things happen in 3's?

With our luck it will be Bray Wanderers changing managers.

As a player ?

I do like him but he should never have been given the Wolves job. An mostly untried manager who is now used to big money to spend. Literally told his squad they weren't up to it & he was exhausted trying to get them there ... fights in the changing room & yesterday on the pitch side.
