The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

Crying out for commas before wtf, and after expect, promotion, Cheese and the first grammar.

Other than that, decent effort other than way too many unnecessary exclamation marks.

Thanks for the critique but I am not writing a novel it’s just a forum but I do like a good exclamation mark lol 😜

Bristol Rovers potted their gaffer

tis the season.

Come on Sharon take the hint and don’t get left behind. Surely with all these jobs available our grand master tactician would walk straight into one so put him on gardening leave for little or no cost.

You know when you have massively balls sumert up at work, and the next day you don't take any dinner with you coz you fully expect not to be staying that long???,  well them days you end up having to buy a chippy dinner or an equally unhealthy pie or pasties type dinner, as your eating it you think, wow i didn't expect to be having this???.

Bet Ian is having a Subway today.

A subway? Nah, he's on this to reflect his personality...

Just seen Buckingham's sacking.

Very surprised, but they've been decisive.

He's a prime example of a manager getting more out of a group of players than his counterparts with greater squads.  Beating Peterborough and us in the play offs on their way to the Championship was a great achievement.

I'm not sure if it's that much of a surprise, one of my ex work colleagues is an ST there, and was calling for him to go a couple of weeks ago. They started quite well this season but have been in utter freefall for while now.

Their last 6 games have been 5 losses and 1 draw, which is awful, longer term they've actually only won twice since the beginning of September

Hmm, I get what you're saying, but equally, did fans really expect anything more than a bit of a struggle?

Can't imagine there's a massive pot available for the new man.

I suppose that's the gamble.

As it would be for us, but we've given ours a heck of support.

was never going to be easy, but they're on a shite run and the manager is very inexperienced

so if they want to stay up, which I'm sure is the aim, they need to have someone they are confident can do the job

Some are saying Ian Evatt is in contention for the Oxford job.

Without a doubt they knew they'd be in for a torrid time, but you know what football fans are like.....fickle to say the least. 😐

The whole situation at Oxford is awful from what I can gather, they have no money, and none coming in, they've got to leave their current ground in 18 months time I think, and so far they're still not sure if their new ground will be built in time. The promotion last year was way beyond what they expected. Anyway, fuck them, I hope they go down

Imagine if the outcome of all this is we get paid for him to go 😂

I’ve no idea whether you’re taking the piss or not @gonzo, but it would be an ending that probably none of us saw coming!

He’s 100% taking the piss mate. Who in their right mind would take him.

I reckon he'd also have to take a large pay cut, and he doesn't look the sort to do that.

He could tell Oxford fans how he won them the game at Wembley

It’s also a fair commute from Chesterfield! He’d be doing 1 day a week

Do Oxford have a stadium hotel?
