Well, what a fucking evil cunt.

13 babies she’s killed, I know 6 she’s not been found guilty of but I’ll go out on a limb and say she’s likely to have done it.

Hopefully a full life term, never gets out.

I just can’t understand how people turn into unfathomable, lunatic shit like this.

Utterly shocking for the parents.

You put your child into the care of the hospital and don't expect such an outcome.

Feel really sorry for the parents of those where the jury couldn't reach a verdict.  No outcome, no remote sense of satisfaction.

They'll want a retrial, CPS will want to settle for what they've got.

I assume they had solid evidence?

The fact they could only pin half of them on her seems a potential for doubt, but you have to trust that after all this time there’s no doubt.

That trial has been going on for what seems like over a year.

Imagine being on that jury.

Anyway, i bet that young girl had mental health problems and was poorly trained and supervised. 🤷 what do i know??

One of the "confession" letters read like someone sat in the corner shaking blaming themselves for a death.

Very messed up. I'd imagine her friend thinks she's innocent as it would be so hard to believe someone entering that profession could commit those crimes

Is that so unusual though?

Family or fruend, I suppose if you've known someone a good while and are good mates, it must be difficult to reconcile, especially if there has been no incling.

Supposedly now looking at previous employment to check for irregularities. Could be more.

I wonder if the sentencing will be televised- been a couple of them so far.

Apparently she’s refusing to leave her cell for sentencing.

I think that bloke getting released last week has made people a bit jumpy about anything like this.

You have to say it looks like she’s nailed on. In which case, throw the book at her.

As I haven't read anything other than the media bits and bobs previously and obviously today I can only hope the jury got this right. I imagine the trial was incredibly complex and difficult to prove on all counts.

I know some are still saying she is the scapegoat for shockingly bad performance of the whole department but there are some serious anomalies from what I have read. Glad I weren't on that trial tbh.

I think so too.

Must be difficult as a juror, thinking I could put someone away for a long time- would want to be sure. Malkinson will bring that to the fore.

Just got to hope the verdicts are sound and that the case and its evidence were strong.

They’ve been at for 30 weeks. I’ve never done jury duty but imagine this being your go at it.

It’s a hell of a responsibility.

what a fucking horrible situation

Aye.

Iirc a family relative had to do a murder trial that was grim.

Reckon I'd have had another fit if exposed to the level of shite these jurors have been! :)

Yeah I think the “I’m evil” post it found by the police did it.

Question is

Was she driven by jealousy, desperately wanting love & a family but couldn’t find it? Or did she have some crazy idea that she was putting the babies out their misery? Probably neither and if history tells us anything, it’s that we’ll never know. Absolutely awful for all families involved.

Heard someone saying it all comes back to Tory austerity & NHS cuts earlier. Even I had to tell them to shut the fuck up.

Fuck all to do with politics.

evil cunts will always find a way to be evil cunts.

saw an interview earlier with a mum and dad whose twins were killed by her, it’s beyond harrowing really.

Harold Shipman. Another one who was just off his fucking rocker and worked his way into a position of power over others who placed their trust.

Heartbreaking. Really is.

Shipman just put old dears out of their misery before they pissed the bed, forgot who they were and dribbled their weetabix down their bibs.

No one wants to join the Anthill Mob so he did them a favour.

Letby is different. I haven't even tried to read anything into because I don't want to know.

Worked with the neonatology units from 2005-2012 all over the the North of England and Scotland. Never had a more fulfilling job in my whole career. It was 90% with the nurses 10% with the doctors

It simply doesn’t compute what she’s done. It just doesn’t fit with the folk that I used to work with

Evil. Simple as that

It would be interesting to know what the evidence was for the ones they found her guilty of compared to the ones they didn't

It may well boil down to someone seeing her in the same room as the baby just before it died

What was presented in the panorama documentary was grim though

2 out of 3 triplets in 2 days

Shocking stuff

Made me feel sick
