Johnny will be an avid poppy wearer, but now it’s tinged with the detrimental knowledge that it’s in honour of the Islamic nutjobs that have been allowed to fight bravely for us all. Farrelli
Another great example of the party of law and order. Apparently at Wandsworth prison recently there were seven members of staff on a night shift looking after over 1000 prisoners. Absolutely ridiculous how prisons are being run. Like all public services, numbers were hit after the financial crash. Even the labour party acknowledged that there was no money. Absolute ignorance to pretend that numbers could be maintained, and whoever came into power after the crash would have cut spending. The debate as to whether it went on too long will forever be debated- but what the figures show is that since 2019 spending on public sector jobs has risen, in accordance with manifestos that both main parties promised. These sorts of figures and mirrored in all sorts of areas. Of course it doesn't fit the narrative, so the reality is ignored. Still work to do to bring numbers back up in some areas, and that will continue whoever forms the next government.
Popular Post Farrelli
I tell you what is absolute ignorance, defending these clowns who have been running every public service down for 13 years. Always someone else’s fault. They never take responsibility for anything. Yesterday we had the absurdity of the PM denying that his 50% cuts on school repair bills had anything to do with schools at risk of falling down. The day before the Education Secretary wanted thanks for doing a good job😅 We all know money can’t be spent everywhere but a bit of honesty would not go amiss now and then. If Sunak had said other priorities had existed in 2020 when he reduced the repair budget and a difficult decision was made he would get some respect. Truth is they were infighting over brexit in 2019/2020 so running the country was neglected.

athywhite1958
When a vehicle enters a prison it is stopped in between the front gates and inner gates, occupants have to get out and book in showing photo ID, the vehicle is then searched, a large mirror on the ceiling helps to see if there is anything on top and long handled mirrors are used to look underneath, occupants must leave all personal articles at the gate i.e. phones etc. The person escorting the vehicle (Operational Support Grade OSG)requests permission from the control room to escort the vehicle to the destination (kitchen) this gives control the knowledge the vehicle is on the move and can halt any other movement in that area, there is also CCTV monitoring. On arrival at the kitchen the kitchen staff and the driver and his mate unload the vehicle, the OSG reports the number of prisoners to the control room and watches all the time. When unloading is complete the kitchen staff do a count of their numbers and the OSG again reports the numbers of prisoners to the control room then escorts the vehicle back to the gate where it is again searched between the 2 sets of gates, once everyone is happy that all is correct the vehicle is allowed to go. That is what should happen, obviously too many here have not done their job or was it an inside job?
