Since they have scored we've been way too slow and passive with the ball and we aren't defending their balls in the box.

Thomasson needs hooking at half time because he's going to get sent off.

Nlundulu's first touch is shocking.

Making it hard for ourselves against a basic long ball team

We’re getting absolutely murdered physically here and our passing is so bad it’s embarrassing. IE needs to get George off before he’s sent off and we need to move the ball quicker and cut this awful slow walking stuff at the back. We’re lucky it hasn’t cost us already. Dans been just awful, back to his lumbering best so he certainly needs hooking.

Not sure who the biggest clown is

 Thomason or Iredale....

I remember starting off as a young cricketer, not being good enough trying to mix it above my level and reverting to bravado bollocks.

Ah well. Level and something to go at second half . We know they ain't gonna change their setup so let's gooooooo

It reminds me of when Arsenal used to come up to the Reebok and just got outfought on the pitch

Evans easily winning the tactical battle so far.

Our passing has gone out of the window under pressure all over the pitch and with their strikers fancying themselves to dominate our CBs, pumping it forward and bypassing the midfield makes every sense from their perspective.

Tricky one for Evatt because we need to close the back door first and foremost but that could mean abandoning our natural game. Somehow we've got to massively improve our passing.

We allow the ball to bounce, they win the second balls, we react by constantly bringing them down. Iredale & Thomason look like walking sending offs for the second half the way they’re going. Ball keeps bouncing off of Dan’s trampoline feet back to them, Toal miles off it for his standards

This exactly.

TBF Reid got a lucky bounce off Toal for the goal - but once he broke away it was an excellent finish.

Their goal came directly from a Dan mistake; it gave the ball to them and we were left exposed at the back pushing forward attacking their box.

Stevenage fans saying they haven't seen their team press so high before and reckon Evans has got it spot on. Hard to disagree.

So if we can move it quicker between the lines and beat their press - and keep control of it or get efforts off when we do get at them it should make life easier.

They're playing their game much better than we are playing ours.

Need to find a way to win matches like these as we aren't finishing higher than playoffs otherwise.

Usually we are very good against teams that press aggressively but we've been too slow today and that's made it easy for them.
