Stevenage (H)

Next up, I think.

Decent start for both teams. 1-1.

  • Wish they'd sort that fucking P.A system out. Almost made a mockery of a tremendous tribute to Franny Lee.

Already been said that yes we were poor especially first half but then again they were good again especially first half.

You can see the spark is missing and Santos was especially missed tonight, but at the final whistle we have 3 points and that's what matters.

Let's get the 5 back who would have been involved tonight and we'll be reet till Januarys window.

Had a chat with a bloke who looks after the young player at his house, and his Mrs works at the club as well, and loads of people are losing patience with Evett.

He's just not up to the job for taking our club further.

Rode our luck a bit and at times Stevenage certainly looked like their lofty league position isn’t by accident, but Sheehan’s goal was absolutely top drawer and fit to win any game.

Great game. Good side, Stevenage. Great win, battled well.

Looking forward to seeing the winning goal again.

I heard that Sharon stopped bringing him cakes

I'm very, very, very happy to be proved wrong but I'm not an Evatt fan, don't think he's a good manager and if we go up - which we will struggle to - we need to get rid.

Did just enough against an awkward opponent.

Loved Sheehan's impression of Stuart Holden for the winner.

I heard that Evatt's cakes are so dry even his little winky can't give enough spuff to make a small cupcake moist.

Bloody hell that was a nervy watch, Iredale was naive first half & I was on edge with him/Thomason but credit where it’s due he bailed us out of the shit with some massive clearances/recoveries at the end also involved in all three goals. At the minute it’s try win the first half or get a lead then defend for our lives because we haven’t got no depth to freshen things up in the midfield or at wing back. Showed some bollocks the past two games when dead on our feet.

2 good posts.

That game was made for Santos, those boys up top wouldn’t have won as much. But fair play to Toal, Forrester and Iredale, they’ll be black and blue in the morning!

Special mention for Iredale. Even though I still don’t have him in our best 11, his goal, assist and 2nd half performance was commendable today, showed bags of character. Just what the squad requires in the middle of an injury crises.

Sometimes you just have to find a way to get a result, we’ve done that the last 2 games.

That can only be a positive 😊

Thomasson is in danger of fucking a possible decent career up

Thats 8 cards now and it just cant carry on like this

The problem is said it before we only have one decent striker when you watch there front 3 tonight probably cost peanuts and we have spent good money on ours looks a waste

Fucking brain donors

It's not just this, I'm not sure he's up to the job.

Very happy for him to shove those words down  my mouth.

But I've no faith in the fella. Sorry.

Do you get a further ban when reach 10?

8 minutes, what a load of bollocks. This ref has been fucking woeful

That’s part of the issue we have. We got bullied to fuck and as soon as anyone pushes back the book comes out. Linesmen seemed to miss a few offside shouts too judging by the vociferous crowd. All in all, we’re being let down by shit officials and their inability to protect us.

Plus their manager is a moaning fat cunt

How he’s not having a heart attack every game is a mystery. I was invited to the players lounge and comfy seats just behind the away dugout tonight. Evans really is like a bloke waiting for his head to pop.

I am very much a man of humour, mainly dark humour but your post is far from any sort of humorous,

Think it's usually a two game one after 10

Oh, and did we see @Casino poised beneath the ball as it came down after a lofted clearance and then bottled the header, electing instead to let it hit his flailing hand having attempted to punch it? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
