Stevenage (H)

Next up, I think.

Decent start for both teams. 1-1.

We need to get a grip of this now.

How shit must everyone else be if we’re third?

Quite. Barnsley, Derby, Peterborough all winning and seemingly in the ascendancy though.

Let off there, fucking hell we are all over the shop at times at the back

Must be something going on between Bodvarsson and Evatt. The whole fan base can see that technically he’s our best forward.

We never seem to control the games where Thomason sits deep and santos is missing. I’d still rather see Sheehan sit deep to allow us to get a hold of the ball better.

Santos perhaps a miss with his strength.

8 minutes, what a load of bollocks. This ref has been fucking woeful

Iredini back to iredale back to iredini

Cower behind the sofa stuff again.

Need to pick up the second balls when it's headed away.

This was definitely a Santos game - Pressley winning far too much all game

I would let John dadi deliver my missus next baby he's that fkin cool n awesome . Pls keep giving him the ball

Wins a win and the points are the most important part tonight. IE kind of set the tone on what to expect tonight with his “get through the next couple of games” statement. So I’d anticipate much of the same Saturday.

still struggle against direct and bitty sides but we’ve come out on top there for once so wouldn’t say there’s overall progress in that area yet..

They may be collectively thick as fuck but you can’t knock the graft.

get Sat dealt with and it’s a much needed break and get the cavalry back

Thank fuck for that

Well gud, we march on.

Not for the first time it was unconvincing but the all important thing is we've won

Wouldn't imagine Saturday to present as much of a challenge on the pitch, but a large away following will help Carlisle.

Augurs well that we're finding ways to win despite playing shite

very good win from a very tough game

We’ve beaten a very solid team tonight.

We’re third

We’re shit and have no hope of promotion.

Fucking love it

Their recent away form had been very good (4 wins out of 5) so in that context it's a good result indeed

Evatt in

Evatt out

in, out, in out, shake it all about.

Never in doubt, good resilience shown there. And we've still got more gears to go this season. Onwards and upwards.

It’s a win wasn’t pretty but we dug deep👏

so important especially with Oxford & Portsmouth winning

surely Bod starts next time Dan is a waste of time and Jerome is embarrassing

Think he's just being careful with him since his injury tbh

Good win that they give us a game agree with most Bod defo not IE favourite anymore as for Dan no way should he start he was awful.

First half was shocking. Second half much better but still quite poor relative to what we're capable of. Fair play to Stevenage, decent side who made it very difficult for us at times.

Iredale motm for me, won the pen, scored then put a lovely ball to Sheehan for the assist and made some good tackles even on a yellow card.

Not sure what the point of Jerome is. OK on the odd occasion he has lent a hand defensively with his height, but he offers nowt up top.

Come January we will surely look to strengthen, especially if Bod isn't flavour of the month neither.

Anyway, a win is a win. They found a way.
