Bolton v Blackpool

My worst match of the season.

Absolutely fucking hate the fixture and just wish it would go away.

Theyve sold kicking on 3.5k

Their style of play suits us massively.

Yeah I agree with this completely. Yes we've got our style and gameplan that we want to implement on any team. However, like any football match, we have to adapt to what is being presented.

  • Fucking fantastic! I get the Bod for Vic debate. But not tonight!  Why on earth when we are on such a good run of form, 1 point off top, overcoming our derby record, getting 25k in L1,

Record breaking! :D

Crazy isn't it.

A bit surprising that some clubs seem to view an away day at Bolton as being the pinnacle, but it's also a compliment.

Decent following, and a toss article.

If some of these clubs had bigger grounds, then other teams would take bigger away followings.

Have they been to Wigan yet, and if so, then what was it?

They go to Wigan in March

Can take half the stadium there!

Wasn’t there a similar message before Wigan, think it draws attention to it imo

They could've easily just reduced that to a four word sentence.

Don't Be A Dick?

Interesting little bit at the end- the anti-terror link and warnings to be vigilant.

What a world.

I was thinking of something a little stronger than 'Dick', but pretty much, yep.

My Hull mates say the opposite. They reckon he was very decent for them when he got his chances in the Championship, just fell out of favour with management changes.

I’m shocked….

You having mates that is

Does it really necessitate a second statement in a week?

Williams has improved massively.  He's still a massive shithouse though when it comes to tackling though.

Iredale improves us defensively, but weakens us offensively.

He's only started 9 games but has 2 goals and 2 assists off top of my head, 1 of them a fantastic pass for Sheehan.  Other than Charles and Vic, he's created/scored as many as anyone I would think.  And delivers some great long passes.

But yes, Williams has improved recently offensively, still leaves us short defensively from what I've seen though.

A draw here wouldn’t be a disaster considering our recent run.

We would still be on 2+ points a game.

Crucial we don’t lose or questions will once again be asked about our mentality in “big” games against local rivals.

Be lovely to go into the break with 3 points mind and 5 league wins on the trot.

I really wouldn’t like to call this one…..

Counts for nowt but funny how little trends tend to perpetuate. From the 80s onwards the most common result this fixture by far has been a draw.

Hope before we gave them 4K tickets we have agreed we will get a decent allocation at theirs ?

I have no problem giving them the tickets but away fans are pretty limited at their place.

Them and Preston had a little tit for tat last season. Think they gave eachother 2k.

Cant imagine them giving us that whole side.

Especially if tomorrow kicks off.

Said that the other day. Not a chance we’re getting anything close to the same allocation at their place. I’d have been more than happy for us to go in to pettiness overdrive and have a commitment on the reciprocal allocation before giving them so many tickets.

Wonder how many home tickets have been sold?

If not full, then you can understand the money from away fans being welcomed by the club.

Weather it would help the team to restrict away support though..

Let's hope it's three quarters empty come 70 minutes.

Away end that is, please let's not have another Wigan 🤦‍♂️
