BN with a stat:

Under IE, we've played 14 games with crowds over 20,000. Won 4, drawn 3 and lost 7.

Hopefully us averaging 21,000 now will make the team more used to playing in front of big crowds on a weekly basis.

A defeat wouldn't be the end of the world regards our pursuit of the top two

But we really have to turn in a performance that shows we've progressed from the Wigan and Carlisle debacles

Got to turn in a performance worthy of the occasion and not wilt, again

I agree it wouldn’t be the end of the world to lose but it would massively damage confidence both on and off the field. We really do need a convincing win in this one to consolidate our right to be considered a true automatic contender. These are exactly the games we do need to win against serious opposition and I’m confident we will. COYWM. 🥳

Some prime seats available in WSU.

WSU is where I’ve started using as my “good gate today” barometer at 2:58 every other week. Used to be ESU until they rehoused a proportion of Krazy Korner.

I'm hoping both Cogley and Williams are fit as Blackpool have good players with a bit of pace down the sides notably CJ Hamilton who often plays on the right but is primarily left footed. Some of the fans reckon they might go with a back four on Saturday and despite the clamour for him to start, Dembele may well be on the bench.

Touted as "the next Messi" when he was just 13 - and appearing in TV ads with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo - Dembele's career hasn't really worked out yet, although he's still young. Successive Celtic managers didn't really trust him enough to play him regularly and his current team Brest were prepared to put him out on loan to Blackpool so it appears he's very hit and miss. Interesting backstory....

He’s a wonder kid on champ

I’ve only seen him in the cup game last week and though skilful he looked a little lightweight as if a couple of good tackles might put him off. Probably why he’s at Blackpool?

Come on you whites, time for a stirring performance in one of our traditional derby games. Time for a derby win. Victory here would go some way to making up the for Wigan fiasco. For me it would on its own inject as much confidence as those recent three away wins did.
