Marc505
Sad news, just saw his quotes to Swedish radio they're quite poignant. Comments under the news on twitter, "get well soon" etc. Kinell, that platform.

noxid
Walked past me in the tunnel in Cologne stadium while I was working on the Germany World Cup 2006. Had the shiniest shoes I've ever seen and a big smile as he passed through to the England dressing room.

Yeah I think all that united , Chelsea, Liverpool rivalry bollocks stopped that team. They have themselves to blame for wasting their talents there. Sitting separately etc is pathetic. a real shame this. Hopefully the medicine can help him extend his life and still live it relatively normal

SatanGreavsie
Great quote from Didi Hamann's autobiography: ‘One morning I was on a sun lounger by the pool when I saw Sven walking towards me carrying a silver tray with a bottle of champagne and two glasses on it. It was still only ten o’clock in the morning…Sven came over and put the champagne on the table next to me, then placed one glass in front of me and the other by his lounger. I looked up and said, ‘Boss, what are we celebrating?’…He turned to me and smiled that gentle smile of his and took on the air of a Buddhist philosopher as he said, ‘Life, Kaiser.’ Then after pausing for dramatic effect, ‘We are celebrating…life.’
