Luton Town (H)

Big game Tuesday with a biggish payday  if we win.

I am expecting the same team to start from Saturday

It's proper location. When it looked like a railway station not a Lego style bus stop.

  • Nah, if we're banging on about having the best team in the division, we shouldn't be hiding from games, if players can't do 2 games a week, we've got issues imo  Still being in 3 competitions mea

We were fantastic in that 2nd half, if you didn't know you would have thought it was a competitive match between 2 league rivals, not a League 1 side against a Premier League side. Also partially

Funnily enough, I think that the crowd will be boosted by some folks wanting to pay their respects.

Yeah, the weather forecast doesn’t look the best can see why our sales are low folk rather stay indoors

Aye.

I know a few feel it's important that they go and pay respects, I wonder if for some, it may be a bit raw and too soon?

I know it’s a few weeks off but maybe next home game when’s there 20k would be better to do something?

this game was never going to be well attended and not sounding harsh but sales won’t shoot up because people want to show respects as you can do on other ways

My lad not keen on night games, prefers watch on TV but said he wants to go to pay his respects, we were 20 feet from the incident and saw it play out from close quarters so I am pleased he wants to go to pay his respects with out any prompting from me.

Can someone please clarify? Do we have to postpone games during international breaks or is that a choice we make, assuming of course the opposition aren’t also involved? Surely we have a big enough squad to play a strong enough team to beat anybody, especially if we bring a couple more in during this window. I accept Dion would be a miss but surely we have enough without him to beat most teams. Even without new signings we surely have sufficient options to cover the likes of Toal, Gethin and Sheehan? That would surely create space for fixtures.

I'm certainly one of them. Wasn't initially planning on attending as it's bit difficult for me to attend and weather not looking great with potential snow.

However thinking of putting that all out of the window just to show my support and respect for Iain.

Agree with other comments, hopefully our next league home game, potentially Barnsley at home (big game) on 3rd Feb, would be great to do something for that game with potentially 23,000+ in attendance.

Maybe we can shift the rescheduled game in before then however but we will have to wait and see.

I would like to see the club do something permanently for Iain and his son Stuart, maybe with his seat.

Don’t know but suspect it’s up to the 2 clubs, if we did decide to play without those mentioned and we got a spate of injuries then Evatt would be given dogs abuse… safer to not play in my opinion.

Consider yourself fortunate. League games require the passing of an aptitude test.💣😁
