Our game there was called off because of our call ups rather than theirs. Shrewsbury had to play their game in the October window as they only had two called up. Can’t think of many instances where clubs have actively chosen to play with 3+ missing though.

Is it only certain contests which allow postponements? There’s currently two major competitions; African and Asian, it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility to have three or more international players for these.

The ticket price being the same as ESL and WSL is the main reason.  There should be an incentive to go in NSL, as there is for league games, otherwise it seems hardly worth opening it.  They could still charge away fans £20 (if that's the reason there's only one price) by putting them in top tier as they used to do for league games.

For some reason AFCON and Asian Cup aren’t in the FIFA window and I’ve never understood why tbh.

It’s not exactly empty on the plan tbf. Certainly wouldn’t have been able to fit all of the North buyers in to East and West so not a bad sign for a fairly decent crowd (which would be the 11k-12k mark for me; 20k was crazy talk)

On Met Office they forecast plus 3 at kick off with light rain showers

I do go off the BBC website though so probably made up like the rest of their shite

pitch will be fine, just making sure the area surrounding the ground is safe might be the only problem. forecast looks like it should be ok

can see this being off due to H&S, coming down heavy again now
