When Rioch came to Bolton in 1992 we won three of our first give games then drew 1 and lost 5 of the next six. A very similar thing happened when Big Sam arrived in 1999. It is very early days and SS

People say buy an away season ticket. They sold out this year so what do we do. Surely they will want em again next year

If that's the case then the system isn't fair. Not having a loyalty scheme is only justified, if the away ST is available to all surely.

There should definately be super fan brackets set up for next season

Super fans will get first dibs on the new safe standing section.

Wonder where that’s gonna be. Makes sense to do it for the south stand fully but where else

Agree with Zico, it's def a case of not wanting to deter folk from buying ST's. You get a shot for the big games, however long it may be.

I am not convinced people by season tickets for any reason other than it’s much cheaper than per game

Half season ticket holders shouldn’t have been allowed to apply personally

That's def the main factor for most inc myself. The 'away priority' hardly exists because everyone has a season ticket, due to low prices. It does give you a ticket to raffle though I suppose.

Agreed. If it wasn’t for a season ticket I would go. Not paying the match day prices.

I buy a season ticket but it costs me more per game as don't do night games.

Ref for this game had been in charge for 6 of our games in his career.

We have won 5 of them.

Few scammers kicking about on the socials folks, beware.

It's not Uriah Rennie, is it?

Lies. It costs you more per game because you don’t do night games or Saturdays at 3pm

Given the plans for so many televised games next season and moving kick off times can see it being last time a lot of people buy season tickets.

We would have won all six then

With some very dubious decisions going our way

I think this season will be fine it’s next where the issues come. Prices will go up and the masses will think fuck it

There should be a statue of him outside the stadium. What a man

All the noise from their end about Richie Wellens being close.. well he’s just signed an extension at Orient

theyve not hit 10k for Friday yet. Apathy everywhere

We probably wouldn’t have been far off their sales for Friday if we had an unlimited away capacity!

We’ve got to start quickly on Friday. An early goal like we got at Peterborough could almost finish the tie off - fans will be on their backs quickly and it should mean we can take advantage and control the away leg. If we bring a lead into the home leg and their fans aren’t exactly turning up with their full backing then I can’t see us throwing it away.

Sounds easy

Yep. Quick start, good tempo, early goal. Does sound easy but it’s exactly what we need and that should make the remaining tie and whatever else easier. Just hope we don’t adopt a slow ponderous patience approach with the 2nd leg at home in the back of our minds. Only takes “one of those nights” and we’re sat at home on 18th May

Not reckon we will take it slow and make subs on 65 minutes 😁
