gonzo Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Nobody with any form of sanity has ever said Rice is better than Kroos or Rodri. Rice could easily play for City if Rodri left. Bitter wankers. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 20, 2024 Site Supporter Posted June 20, 2024 Defending wasn't great from either, which probably what made it quite entertaining. Can have two top sides playing coy football and it's a snooze fest. Quote
L/H White Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 apparently bellingham had the most tackles and interceptions the other night has to play with rice in the latter stages Quote

Made me laugh that recent Paddy Power advert when they were asking Scots would they take qualification in return for England winning the whole thing. Number of them who said, "No, they'd never stop going on about it!" Quote

He's got to be the no 10. Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 20, 2024 Site Supporter Posted June 20, 2024 Obviously that maybe a bit one sided, but I think it also makes a decent point. After the game I commented that they were on different wavelengths- and this shows it. That subtle difference between the quality of movement and understanding at City, and with England. Either that or other players don't like him. 🤣 Quote

He's in a team like no other at city, drilled to death for close play and overloads down the flanks. He's not getting fuck all in the way of overloads with England he's playing with players who aren't drilled the same in to one touch play. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 (edited) When Foden got the ball the other neet he did nowt but make bad decisions and give the ball away. Not surprised they weren't passing to him lol. Im not having all this postion, system formation shite. He wasnt even doing the basics as a footballer. Something which Danny Mills could even muster for England. Rather than flouncing and waving your arms about get the ball and make something happen. People are talking about him like he's a baby lol Football is simple and he's very good at it He'll score 2 today. And shut us all up. Edited June 20, 2024 by deeane Koontz Quote

Wanderlust Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Slovenia currently top of England's group so as it stands England can't win the group today even if we beat Denmark. But we can qualify for the next stage with a win. Quote

Must be frustrating though when your mind and movement is ahead of your team mates. Quote
