I've never thought that was that sort of hype around Rice, as in he is considered world class or on the same level as Kroos

Just a good international standard player which he's proven and stepped up to playing for arsenal and in the cl no problem

Being plastered all over bus stops and bill boards advertising Muller Rice is not hype

Nobody with any form of sanity has ever said Rice is better than Kroos or Rodri.

Rice could easily play for City if Rodri left.

Bitter wankers.

Considering his hatred of England he takes one hell of a lot interest in England!     Prick

Wasn't a fan.

He right. The standard was bloody awful. Was like an under 7s match.

Apart from yon lads finish like. But even that came from some dog and duck stuff.

I only caught the end of it

Judging by the commentary you'd have thought Scotland had won the whole thing and not just drawn 1-1 with Switzerland

I loved the perfectly weighted back passes by the sweatys

Defending wasn't great from either, which probably what made it quite entertaining.

Can have two top sides playing coy football and it's a snooze fest.

apparently bellingham had the most tackles and interceptions the other night

has to play with rice in the latter stages

I remember how well they celebrated that 0-0 draw at Wembley a couple of years ago and they still go on about the win over Holland in 1978.

Made me laugh that recent Paddy Power advert when they were asking Scots would they take qualification in return for England winning the whole thing.  Number of them who said, "No, they'd never stop going on about it!"

He also scored from about 5 yards out the other night and scored over 20 goals for Real Madrid last season, most from inside the box.

He's got to be the no 10.

Obviously that maybe a bit one sided, but I think it also makes a decent point.

After the game I commented that they were on different wavelengths- and this shows it.

That subtle difference between the quality of movement and understanding at City, and with England.

Either that or other players don't like him. 🤣

Think you've hit it there.

@deeane Koontzraises the point also with his Pep and his finely tuned robots.

He's in a team like no other at city, drilled to death for close play and overloads down the flanks.

He's not getting fuck all in the way of overloads with England he's playing with players who aren't drilled the same in to one touch play.

When Foden got the ball the other neet he did nowt but make bad decisions and give the ball away. Not surprised they weren't passing to him lol. Im not having all this postion, system formation shite. He wasnt even doing the basics as a footballer. Something which Danny Mills could even muster for England.

Rather than flouncing and waving your arms about get the ball and make something happen.  People are talking about him like he's a baby lol

Football is simple and he's very good at it

He'll score 2 today. And shut us all up.

Hopefully.

Slovenia currently top of England's group so as it stands England can't win the group today even if we beat Denmark. But we can qualify for the next stage with a win.

He did play a number of poor passes, which is unlike him.

Must be frustrating though when your mind and movement is ahead of your team mates.

Wow - equaliser 95mins.
