  • If he was a new signing and we hadn’t seen him up close, we would be wanking ourselves silly after that half, about signing a player who seems to have it all at this level; vision, energy, box-to-box,

All fair points that you make, I think he deserves more than 3 games to get us challenging for the top, especially as it is his first real crack at having a decent transfer budget, time will tell.

  • Most men with dogs didnt see 3 in midfield

I've just watched 45 minutes of Cogley absolutely rinsing their full back for the duration.

He's had absolutely nothing to defend and has had his marker on toast.

And done bugger all with it, keeps cutting on to his crap left foot and making wrong choices. First time son , come on.

At Charlton we had 13 efforts in the whole game. Today we've had 11 in the first half.

Same end product. Fuck all!

Could have had five or six, but the bottom line we havent got any! We will be promoted in the possession  league by Christmas another 68!

Surely got to happen in 2nd half!?

Not that I want to brand myself as a GT knocker - I think he’s slightly limited and don’t rate him as highly as others seem to, but certainly no knocker - I do think you have to take into account the level of the opposition. It’s all well and good bossing a game against cannon fodder but that won’t get us promoted. He has time and space and that’s when he’s at his best.

I do think he’s been excellent by the way, and some of his passes as I said earlier have been unreal, but you can’t really use this game as a genuine comparator of performances.

You're dissing Shrewsbury but they're a) in the same league as us and b) have just signed some good loanees who have yet to settle in but clearly have quality. I'd be worried for our B teamers when they come on.

And GT is a top player and possibly more creative than Sheehan IMO and certainly stronger in midfield. But that's just my opinion.

Are you allowed owt sharp in your hands?

You would like to think so mate after being so dominant.

No, sat here in a straight jacket under orders from the wife!

Some fantastic through balls coming from midfield, George mainly.

Charles should do better there

I dont care

It was all about performancr, imo

If we miss another 6, hey ho

:)

We've already surpassed the total number of efforts on goal in the Charlton match.

Could well do but if we had our shooting boots on, it would be 4/5-0
