  • If he was a new signing and we hadn’t seen him up close, we would be wanking ourselves silly after that half, about signing a player who seems to have it all at this level; vision, energy, box-to-box,

All fair points that you make, I think he deserves more than 3 games to get us challenging for the top, especially as it is his first real crack at having a decent transfer budget, time will tell.

  • Most men with dogs didnt see 3 in midfield

He's been great all game. No idea what some folk are on about.

He's never losing his place in a million years.

Not watching, just reading, but a few do seem to feel his crossing could be better.

Similar last season.

It is something of a bug bear for me, but maybe crossing is more difficult than I thought.

Brilliant run from Matete before he was hacked down. Adventurous stuff from the Whites and I love it.

Get innnnn

Sheehan cannot make that run btw

Nice Dion - about time TBF

Was that an indirect free-kick for some reason? If not, I’ll never understand why players do that little nudge to another and then shoot. No difference in angle, the ball isn’t moving and it just gives the defenders time to close it down.

Get in Dion

Nice one Dion.

Does it count though, as it's not a league game?😁

Well taken Dion, great work from McAtee. Plenty to like so far tonight though nothing to get carried away about, they are relegation fodder

Feel like this is a match we could have won sleepwalking, but if it helps us longer-term by ironing out some of the issues raises so far this season then great

Great strike, hopefully a massive confidence booster.

Have we questioned why coleman is on the bench?

Can we count that @Johnnyrotten?

No, tis just the cup, less important 😘

If you cannot see Matete is streets ahead of Sheehan you need to go and watch Rugby.....

Bugger, beat me to it!

If it helps us get up the league I'll count it 😀

He's passed his audition already for me. Maybe we should sign him?

Much much better.  Icing on the cake would be for McAtee to get off the mark.

Credit due to them all. They may or may have be up to much, but it seems that we've been on top of the game, and kept them at bay.
